First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

My experience at NIT Jalandhar

Likes

Good senior and junior interaction, you will be surrounded with intelligent people.
The professor are too hardworking and intelligent and they will provide you all the necessary support related to studies
The college infrastructure is too good and have two libraries for studies and two Lectures theatre for studies

Dislikes

Mess food is not upto the level the chappattis are not well cooked and their mix veg is too bad
Not good connectivity from main city we have to take 50 rs auto from city and cantt station and sometime they charge even 200
Not so many bookshops always there is a single vendor monopoly he charges too much this days NITJ Bookshop charges too much

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 4 on 5 to the course curriculum . It is relevant to new trends and technologies. The core chemical engineering motivated me to take this course. The curriculum prepare too well us for future jobs and higher studies. In improvement i would say to the teacher to provide us ppts and adopt modern technologies for lecture. The exam frequency is good 2 time in a day and the difficulty level is moderate and the paper is mostly from the lecture of teachers

Likes

Campus is well equipped with all the facilities (i.e. wifi, ground, park etc)
Placement opportunities are good compared to private institutions
Newly hired professors are good at teaching

Dislikes

Some of the old faculty members don't have adequate subject knowledge.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards student is allowed to sit in placement. Average package of chemical engineering is 7.45 lpa with highest package of 15.42 lpa offered by amazon and placement percentage is 91 percent. Major companies for chemical engineering are Reliance, vedanta, trident, BPCL etc.

Exploring NIT jalandhar at ground level

Likes

Very good infrastructure and facilities for students
Atmosphere is really up skilling like the students are here all achievers in their respective fields
Faculty also is quite supportive in respect to other ones

Dislikes

Very poor boys to girls ratio that is 1:5
Curriculum should be updated we are still thought 30 years old syllabus
More practical knowledge should be provided than theoretical

Placement Experience:

Good placements in comparison to other private college where there is almost zero placements but here still if student is doing good in his academics he can grab a handsome paying job and can brag about it in front of others

My college is a very high demandable of industry level and Maharashtra of India

My colleges are very popular and college friend very nice because he was lonely and my call is teacher is also creatively and suppliers only and helpfully other friends and me because is college advantages my colleagues is a very popular in Maharasht
My college campus and girls and boys training is as a placement and internship can be needed sab teachers also classified students and student parent because student is a lecturer or not attend issue is not possible because boys and girls attend
Colleges are so predictable and functional and course apply for management faculty 2 help faculty and my college ground is a very big because they play on the ground boys and girls the most facial attempt most question attend this college

College boys and then some acceptable girls because I skill and writing skill because not a and
Main college one teacher is very bad because he was angry me and other student I can attempt on question and all book read on this college my friend on all notebook we can also chillup boys and girls
Not other position in this college because boys and girl issue is a and so provided

This college interview preparation can be needed so depression trust on these college because is placement and job detail prepare in all student because these college in demandable and future able and skillful able also is for edible this college is eligibility very specific pattern this campus also be good campus selection start from beginner to advance level from Student and placement wish you absorb all the teacher can be Pacific pattern and detail and preparation start by completing course after the begin your level to advance level of salary of the course that is example of BCA otherwise

Likes

Laboratories are maintained very good and have all the necessary equipments
Good placement and internship opportunities
Faculty is well qualified. Most of them have done Phd from IITs

Dislikes

Hostels lack basic facilities such as sanitation
Classrooms are very old. Curriculum is outdated
Location of the college is not very suitable

Placement stats are above average in comparison to other colleges of the country. Various multinational companies like Google, Amazon, Nvidia, Samsung etc. visit the college for campus placements and internships. Students become eligible for internships at the end of 2nd year

I want to join many of activity club like sports and technology or etc. but due to lake of confidence I am don't apply for anything because of my communication skills is very poor
The campus size is not much more big but is not bad and multiple facilities is available the development of college is in progress. and senior help us and encourage to consume the available facilities
The faculty of college is very expert in there fields and they most of complete there Dr. Degree from a very good universities

Dislikes

I don't like thing is the college is outside of the city is not good for the resources we need to go city and the auto rickshaw pay extra charge because of there is not people for rikshaw at the time of returning
The course curriculum is full of study it need to some enjoyment things were added in curriculum.accept this curriculum is good
As we study upto 12th we study a period of only 40 minutes but now the periode isof 1 hour as the scientific study last 20 minutes is full boring and the lab is of two hours I don't like this thing also

After the 7th semester the students was eligible for campus interview.and nit Jalandhar campus placement percentage is upto 83.the criteria for campus interview is according to companies .and in nit Jalandhar there are 150 companies are coming for interview like Microsoft, Google, Zscaler, BPCL, Goldman Sachs, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro and etc.the highest package of 2024 is 62 lac in previous year,and the average package of electrical is upto 13 lac. I am also want to seated in campus interview .

Placement is better than other college and gradualy it is increasing year on year, more than 200 companies visits to hire student at our college and all gets the equal opportunity to grab yhe job according to your capability

What should I expect from my college life?

Likes

The placements are decent. Avg. placement is around 16-17 LPA and The placement percentage is also above 90.
The mess food is also good. The hostels are good and worth living.
The coding culture of the college is pretty decent.

Dislikes

Curriculum is little too strict. Academics require consistency.
Campus is far away from city. Hence you need to grab an extra whole day yo visit outside campus.

Placement Experience:

Students from fourth year are eligible for campus placements considering various CGPA criteria. Students can also opt for off campus placements if not satisfied with the college placement. Or you can go for higher studies like MTech etc.

the sports facilities,gym ,and campus life are good
The faculties are very good and supportive
The hostels are average and the food is good

Dislikes

There are many restrictions for first year students
From second year there will be no restrictions in timings
There are more working hours like 24 hours per week

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester students are eligible to get internships From 7th semester students are eligible to get college placements The average package is 13 lakhs per Annam And the median package is 10 lakhs per annam

Social interaction is really good because of diversification in the college

I must say you that you have to suffer with the mess food in starting and after continuous consumption,it will become your habit to digest it
the college is little bit small as compared
the college is far from the city but all things are available in the premises

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
