Course Curriculum Overview

In our college for 1st year students there is a subject which is named as "design thinking and innovation " which is really a good opportunity as a begginer in engineering college. It helps us to think apart from the bookish knowledge.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

After 6th semester they starts getting internships and after 8th semester they are eligible for placement in engineering college both(off campus as well)100% placement is there in my college. I will apply for the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

I am Khushbu Mandaiya belongs to the category SC As there is no tuition fee for the SC category students. One of my friend she belongs to the category general and she paid 61500/- for the tuition fee.

Campus Life

In my college there are several clubs. According to your interest you can apply . It helps us to increase or improve our skills . There is club" PRAYAS" which teach the students who are not able to study in school.

Hostel Facilities

In our hostel there are double seater and triple seater rooms available. And for the first year students there is separate hostel building which u like the most. Mess food is really yummy . And evening snacks are also there.

Hostel Fee: INR 12500 per year

Admission

I chose this college because of the academic condition. There are good opportunities for the students to get best placement over the other engineering college. And the campus of my college is really beautiful.

Faculty

The bonding between teacher and students is really understandable. I like all the faculties of my college. They all teach us really well . They made lot of efforts for us to serve better. There are exams twice a semester.

Night Life

There is gym in our college but only for one hour girls. Our campus and hostel in timing is 10:00 pm . Library is open till 8:00 pm and in the exams it extends to 10:00 pm as per the students demands.

As far as i see most of my seniors are well placed from our university some of them are in plum , google and very know companies as the placement of the college is better than other college , mostly every student get a placemnet .

NIT Jalandhar

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.

NIT Jalandhar is the only NIT college who has Textile Technology as its branch. So here itself the value is increased. If I compare other colleges with this with same branch and course then still NIT Jalandhar holds more value. To take admission in NIT Jalandhar, one has to clear JEE Mains with good percentile. Brief About NITJ

I applied for PEC, Chitkara, CU, LPU and NITJ. Out of which I could have enrolled in anyone except PEC. I choose NITJ cause of its low fee, better placements and good reputation. I got rejected from PEC (punjab engineering college) as my JEE percentile was not sufficient. For Btech admissin you need a valid Jee rank and students are enrolled through Jossa portal....Read More
