First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

NIT JALANDHAR :- A COLLEGE WITH FULL OF FUN

Likes

infrastructure is good and well maintained
student engagement is good in clubs and societies
more opportunities for students and a good placements

Dislikes

75% attendence policy is very strictly followed
restrictions are high in the campus for boys and girls
no loacal market is available near the college

Placement Experience:

placements of college are good. companies like microsoft ,amazon, tata,maruti,goldman sacs visit the college for on campus placements.The average packages in tech bramnches are 14 lpa and for core branches it is 8 lpa .whiuch for a fresher is decent.

Journey as a fresher in Nitj

Likes

Infrastructure is so good, lecture halls have Ac in it. One entire building is dedicated to students
It has lot of greeenry . Parks are available for students
It has 2 major ground. Hostels are so good as well. Food in mess is also good

Dislikes

It doesnt have swimming pool or lake thats bigg issue
75% criteria is there sometimes it creates difficulties for students
Time table is so hectic here. The college doesnt give so much holidays

Curriculam is bit hectic but yes its helpfull . In few areas this curricullam helps us to face real world like in communication, stress handelling , critical thinking and all. But even for few things we dont know why they teach

COLLEGE LIFE AT NITJ

Likes

The infrastructure is extremely nice college
there are many clubs present in this college. Very good discovery yourself.
The faculty here is very awesome and the faculty student ratio is 1:22

Dislikes

if you’re coming to this college and make sure there are many restrictions put on the students regarding hostel timings
The college does not provide too much liberty regarding the library timings
The food facility for 24 hours are not provided in this college

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities provided through the college to it. Students are quite awesome. The highest package goes with the top branches like CSE EC IT, et cetera. The placement drive starts from the seventh semester. There are also many internship opportunities provided in the college. Many more various companies visit the college in the final year where they pick students according to their need and according to the capabilities and skills of the students, you were able to discover many more opportunities related to your placement through the drive which happens every year in this college. The companies recently visited over Google Goldman, BYJU'S Arti, steels and tech engineering companies such as Trident, Vardhman Limited, et cetera. Also visited this campus.

NIT Jalandhar and it's life

Likes

The infrastructure is extremely nice and college
There are many clubs present in this college very one discovery yourself
The faculty here is very awesome and the faculty student ratio is 1:22

If you are coming to this college and make sure there are many restrictions food on the students regarding hostel timings

The infrastructure is good and ventilated. There are various depts, canteens and dispensary etc.
There are high student engaging activities in the college which leads to the overall development of the person.
The environment of the campus is good and green which creates a very positive vibe.

Dislikes

There is funding problem with the clubs.
There are many restrictions in the college with timing issues etc.
The nearby places and environment just outside the campus is not safe for the students.

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by the college is fine. The highest package goes with the top branches like CSE, ECE etc. The placements drive starts with the 7th semester. The placements are ok but not upto the mark according to the national college. The averge package offered varies with branch to branch. average package for industrial engg is 6-7 lacs. the companies visited recently was google, goldman sachs, byjus, aarti steels etc.

Bus facility for dayscholars good environment
Infrastructure of the college and have a big library
Classroom were very good with projectors and also with ac

Dislikes

I dislike in my college was small it's around 140 acre as compared to other nits
I dislike in my college was no permission for vehicles for hostllers
I dislike in my college was poor management in labs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I rate 8/10 for my branch mechanical engineering because it has higher placements I like mechanics so I choosen this branch.The curriculum made me prepare a real world in my workshop there so many machinery. No more improvement. Timing of exam is after 3 months of academics

Likes

Environment in my college is very nice including the social and natural
Clubs which involves all the drama, singing, dance , etc
Facility members are supportive if you are supportive to them

Dislikes

Clubs of our college do not get funds afterall it's a government college than too there is no scope of getting the funds to the clubs for the betterment
Restrictions regarding girls and boys being roam together i guess they are adult they know what they are doing so stop restricting them
Placements as it is a government college we expect a huge amount of placement rate but it is opposite

Placement Experience:

There are 80-90% placement in my branch but the average is very low so mostly students opt for M tech after the course. The average package is about 6-7 LPA. My plans is to opt for MTech as I have no interest till now in job so I think I should go for MTech to secure a job of more package than expected.

I liked the campus and the people over here. When you got the like minded people with you you will definitely feel good around them
There are a lot of clubs here in the college so there a complete development in everything so it great opportunity to do what you want to do
The college faculties are also very experienced so you can be safe learning different things around them so it is a healthy competition among all

Dislikes

The locality is not so good you have to travel a lot to go the the city and transportation is not safe here.
The college is still in a developing phase. A lot of things is still not available in the canpus
Sports facilities needs to improve in the college. The lighting facilities in the ground is not good

Campus placements in the reason why we got admission in the prestigious engineering colleges like NIT'S and here in our college it is quite good . Our branch has a average of 10 lpa which we all know varies from student to student and the individual knowledge. Highest placement is as high as 50 lakh per annum so it is just a number depends on students.

No pain , no gain

Likes

Exams pattern. We have to give exam in two times in one semester. One is mid sem other is end sem.
The campus is big and neat and cleaned.all the Facilities are in campus itself.
The behavior of seniors and staff in mess.

Dislikes

The criteria of having 75 attendance is too much here.
Some teachers are not good in providing quality education.
Hostel facilities are not so much good at all.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in every branch except biotechnology. In textiles too the students are placed with atleast 10 lc per nm. Many big companies come in the campus for placement. The only criteria is having skills and atleast 7.5 cgpa on last 2 semsesters

Is mechanical and electronics in NIT Jalandhar as good as CS in the same college?

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
