My course curriculum is relatively good and comprehensive. I was intereseted in industrial sector that made me select this particular branch. The course curriculum includes subjects that are beneficial in future in the industry. There are subjects like production planning , industrial automation, quality assurance etc. Industrial and Production had a great scope in future. The course and engineering lies in between moderate category.

The placements provided by the college is fine. The highest package goes with the top branches like CSE, ECE etc. The placements drive starts with the 7th semester. The placements are ok but not upto the mark according to the national college. The averge package offered varies with branch to branch. average package for industrial engg is 6-7 lacs. the companies visited recently was google, goldman sachs, byjus, aarti steels etc.

The total fees that i paid as a general category student was Rs.88000/- per semester. The fees include tution fees, hostel fees etc. As a general category, there was no recessions provided in the fees. As per latest provisions, there is no hike structure. For other than general category students, there are recessions and finincial aids available. There are also aids available based upon annual income.

The overall experience with campus life is good. There are manys cultural clubs present in the college. I am currently enrolled in Photography club, Cultural affairs club. There are three annual fests of the college namely Technial, Cultural and foundation day. There are various types of student engaging events in these fests. The college infrastructure is pretty good. There are buildings for each department with a open air theatre, canteens, dispensary, bookshop and general stores.

The hostel facilities are good. There are 10 Boys Hostels and 4 girls hostels. various facilities provided in the hostels include Mess, games room, TV room, newspapers, lift etc. The rooms conditions are good. Cleanliness is there in the hostels with proper inspection regularly. The mess food is really good with proper meals provided.

I had opt for non medical in my schooling after 10th, there after i got to knew about JEE (Joint Entrance Examination). I found the application form of JEE from NTA website and filled it up. The application fess was nominal. After the JEE examanition, I filled up for JOSAA counselling and there i secured NIT Jalandhar in 2nd round as a general category student for Industrial and production engineering.
