The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Likes

My experience at college was largely postive, providing a strong foundation in study with access to excellent professors and diverse learning opportunities.
The college fostered a lively community with diverse student organisations, cultural events,and a strong emphasis on students engagement, which helps me develop leadership skills and build meaningful connections.
A relevant and rigorous curriculum can help you develop critical thinking, problem -solving and other skill that are important personal and professional success.

Dislikes

Short period of time within which we are supposed to teach the course content.there is often not enough time to reflect upon the material.
My professor is unbelievable boring .the classes are to o big. I keep getting lousy grade
I can't get my course to transfer properly. I cannot afford a parking space within 5 miles of the place.

Chandigarh University Best or worst?

Likes

The friendly nature of the students despite of their different cultural background.
The helpfull faculty and supportiveness of teachers.
Opportunities given by the college for the extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The long time taking process of any work to be done by the faculty.
The discrimition faced by students from faculty.
Rigid things that can't be changed evenn after several complaints.

Placement Experience:

Psychology bachelor's can get placements from semester 5-6 but if you are choosing clinical as major than you have to do masters after bachelor to get the license [that too from an RCI certified college]. There are multiple fields and the package goes accordingly.Mostly students choose to do masters for better future and to bacome a therapist.I will also opt for masters after the degree.

Likes

The library in this college is very good... Students can go there in the free lectures .... But the stock of certain books are low and they should allow students to take there notebook inside the library...
College faculties are good but some teachers are kinda rude .... There teaching method is nice but could be better.... They should interact with students in a more frank way
Gardens in the college campus are preety nice ... The sitting arrangement there is also good where students can hangout in free lectures but they should add some more sheds so that students can be protected from the burning sun rays in summer

Dislikes

The college washrooms are not well maintained.... The washrooms are not properly cleaned.... The door in the washrooms also doesn't close properly... So that should be improved
The college canteen is the place I don't like much .... The food there is average but the facility of fans is poor... It's almost impossible to sit in there during summer
The college doesn't sponser any trip for the students... It's been almost two years I'm in college and the college doesn't even sponser a single day trip ... So I think the college should sponsor atleast one trip every year

Course Curriculum Overview:

While choosing the course of bachelor of arts in english I thought I would get to know about the writers , there will be great novels and nice poetries but there's more if critical course instead of novels and poetries and that doesn't even make sense ... Well the curriculum does prepare us to face the real world applications because of the critical subjects but not that much . The problem isn't the teachers but the subjects . they're just so rough . I would suggest that these subjects should be less in the course . The course isn't difficult but the subjects makes it seem difficult because they are just so rough and not interesting . So there's no need to change timings of the examination .

A good university, let’s see

The college offers very nice placements programmes, and internships for students of all the courses
The faculty and the behaviour of the faculty is very good in terms of academics and general
The best part about the university is the social life which the university offers in the terms of events and the concerts they organise

Dislikes

The campus is very huge. Students have to walk very far if they want to visit some other academic block.
If students face any issue in terms of the fees or in the attendance, there is a long process which takes place and then to solve your issue
There is a compulsion of maintaining 75% attendance, which gets difficult at some point

There are many placement programs which take place in the university. Many companies like Google and Microsoft offers placements to the university and students. Most of the time gets eligible for the placements in their last year because that is the final year and a student who wants a good placement, maintain Attendance of 75 to 80% and CGB of 7.5 every semester.

The best thing about this college is the faculty. The faculty there is very good. Very understanding. They actually listen to your issue and they try to resolve that at their level best. Also the study there is very good specially the content
Other thing I like about the university is the extra co-activities and events which are being organised by the university. Students actually participate in that events which enhances their social ability and their interaction.
The University also offers amazing placements and internship programmes, which helps student to pursue their career in the best way, also, the placements are very good packages and the students actually availed those placements.

Dislikes

I think which I disliked about the university is their extra fee, which they take. If your attendance is not 75% a student will have to pay a fine of ₹8 to 10,000 to give their exam again. If a student gets detained in a particular subject.
Another thing is a student cannot apply medical leave for less than three days like if you are sick for one or two days, you cannot apply medical leave. You have to apply medical leave for more than three days and up to 10 days.
There are restrictions on the dressing of the students, especially the girls are not allowed to wear short dresses or informal clothes in the college, and the boys are also told to dress up in formals

Placement Experience:

The University offers amazing placements with packages starting from two lakhs per annum to 18 or 50 lakhs per annum. It actually depends upon the courses and how much compatible you are in your academics as well as your extra curricular activities. There are companies which actually comes from a different parts of India with their offers of taking students and enrolling them in their companies. There are special placement programmes and placement workshops which guide students about different companies and different placements which they can get in their last semester. Most probably but there are some companies which takes freshers also from the first year of the second years. the University keep sending such information in the class groups.

First thing was it was a great experience to study in this pretty lovely university as its campus is lush green. very neat and clean campus. chandigarh university is one of the most clean and vast university in punjab so yeah its pretty amazing. love
chandigarh university have many linked food chains that are quite famous yet friendly and so yummy food i must say its available everytime you want it even though their is delivery facility too for the hostel students in hostel at late night so easy
Chandigarh University conducts many concerts of famous actors and actresses. they also do a quite good and expensive concerts with the singers and also the movie promotions which allows students enjoy a lot a lot alot. its a great chance to meet em..

Dislikes

the thing was about hostel they allow boys to roam around everytime anywhere but for girls its like a restriction for every girl so that was a minus point about the hostellers and wardens were also kind of rude they dont treat the students well......
sometimes you really want to participate but you cant get in
Everywhere couples are either kissing or making out which makes you uncomfortable a lil

Things I liked about this college is that their faculty members are very helpful and cooperative in nature and treat each and every student equally second thing is that they include academics with co curricular activities and their security is good

Dislikes

The dislike ones are they tell their students about the assignments and presentation very late and at that time when students are having their examination

Insight into Chandigarh University

Likes

It provides exposure to students which make them more pratical
Campus life is good and you get to interact with people with various cultural backgrounds
The teachers are very hardworking and the learning is both traditional and computer based

Dislikes

The criteria of attendance become frustrating sometimes
There are certain managment issues like sometimes the manangement is not worth it

As I heard from the seniors placement ratio here is appreciable. Being a first year student I can see various placements offers coming to my seniors and averag package that I have acknowledge is about 6-7 Lakh per annum and highest was about 18Lakh per annun A lot of students are getting placed My plans after getting the degree is to go for competitive exams like UPSC

3 years with memories of lifetime

The infrastructure was really amazing it had really good and spacious auditoriums.
The events were really amazing as well. We uses to enjoy there so much with dance and music.
There are huge parking lots in each and every block of the campus. The space and stem center helped studentts achieved great heights in field of robotics and science.

Dislikes

The things i disliked the most was the attendance system though i know attending class is important but sometimes.
The summer term thats Students had to attend after getting detained was very much costly as well, it was almost 8k for each subject.
The management system was not very good and efficient even for a small work like getting refund it took hours.

I was always interested in the field of psychology since school. And i had heard chandigarh university offers a great programs in BA honours. We were required to do 1 month internship as a part of our curriculum in 4th and 6th semester which really helped in gaining real life experience.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
