Course Curriculum Overview

4

While choosing the course of bachelor of arts in english I thought I would get to know about the writers , there will be great novels and nice poetries but there's more if critical course instead of novels and poetries and that doesn't even make sense ... Well the curriculum does prepare us to face the real world applications because of the critical subjects but not that much . The problem isn't the teachers but the subjects . they're just so rough . I would suggest that these subjects should be less in the course . The course isn't difficult but the subjects makes it seem difficult because they are just so rough and not interesting . So there's no need to change timings of the examination .

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee of this college in my course is ? 12000 .... That is the over all fee that has been paid.... But we need to pay ? 350 for the exam registration .... Mostly students pay tuition fee between ?12000- 15000 .... This college have some scholarship for the categoried students.. this college is totally affordable for everyone....

Campus Life

4

The campus life is also nice . The fresher's party, farewell, annual function, Diwali festival, lohri festival, holi festival are majorly celebrated in the college campus . The students in the college are also friendly . The facility of library is the best thing I've experienced in the college . The books from the library are issued for a week . Yeh classroom are also decent . There are. multi media room and conference room that can be used for Vedio lectures .

Admission

Well I'd apply for few more colleges like GCG sector 11 , MCM and my addmission was also confirmed in those colleges but I chose PGGCG 42 because it's near my home . It's easy for me to get to the college on time . The other colleges were far from my home so there's possibility that I could get late for the classes there that's why I chose this college to pursue my course . The addmission process is to easy in this college. You just need to apply on the college website and then if your addmission get confirmed you'll get text message of fee that you have to through net banking or you can go to samparak to pay you fee . There's no exam needed for this course . You just need to submit all your documents on the website during addmission process.

Faculty

3

The teaching faculties are preety nice but some of the professors are kinda rude and not approachable ..... The teachers do interact with students nicely but it could be way more better.... The teachers are pretty active in class so that the course could be completed timely .... The professor I like the most is Dr. Shaktee Pathak ma'am.. she used to take our ALC classes... She's the sweetest teacher..... We can interact openly with her about anything... But there are some professors who are not that approachable and easy to talk to.... I can't tell the name of that teacher but if you take addmission there you'll get to know ... Now about the exams and course curriculum.... There are two exams that are conducted in each semester one is MST and other is finals... Mostly students clear the exam but it's difficult to properly attempt the mst cuz there're 3 long questions to attempt in one lecture so how could anyone attempt it properly.... I think the course curriculum is also irrelevant cuz there're sone subjects that doesn't even make sense ...

Night Life

2

The night life isn't that good . Because there's no place to hangout inside the campus and the hostelers aren't allowed to go out at night . The hostelers can go out I'm daytime till 6 p.m. so the night life of this college is poor .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I study Psychology, Computer Science and Elective English. I love everything about Psychology. The whole course structureis perfect, and they focus on practicality as well. What I don't like about Computer Science is the lack of practical experience. Exams are fairly easy and are conducted twice per semester. Mid Semester exams are short and the duration is one week. And the finals can go for as long as one and a half month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you are trying to familiarize yourself with college academics, you will need to learn how college exams are different from high school exams well before you enroll in your first semester of classes. While both college and high school classes are designed to prepare students to become contributing members of society, the environment and the approach are entirely different. You must realize that high school is designed to prepare you for college, but you are considered an adult once you walk the line and apply for college admission. There will be no hand-holding, no parent intervention, more lenient attendance policies, more independent study time, and less one-on-one attention.
