Chandigarh University offers a full-time Bachelor of Design course for 4 years split into 8 semesters. The B.Des. program provides the students with the essential skills for thinking creatively and taking advantage of emerging technologies. The minimum requirement to apply for the program is a 10+2 pass with a minimum of 50% marks. The indepth knowledge about the design industry always compelled me to learn about this The curriculum was up to date according to the industry requirements covering each dimensions of product design, UI UX and working on the basics like color theory and sketching More practical approach is required to understand the actual industry demands The exams were conducted in every 45 Days, it was basically a mid sem and end sem jury where we were required to submit our work to the panel

As I have seen on website before admission my expectations were very high but after I got admission I was really disappointed with my decision. Because nobody in the university knows that this course exists in the university.

The fee structure depends on the type, of course, you are choosing. The fee for industrial design is 160000 p. a where for b. come is 43000 p. a. The college accepts payments by online modes also as well as by cash in hand also. The fee structure is expensive but at the same time, it is worth also.

The per semester fee for B. design (INdustrial design) is 85000. there is a concession for the students who score good marks in CUCET. CUCET is an entrance exam conducted by the university. there are slabs of fee concession based on percentage of marks in the test. one can get up to 100% scholarship if he scores above 95%.

Here B.Design course is 80000per semester and 2000semester fee expect all this no fee is included even no admission fee is there only you have to pay semester fee which can be done in 2part u can pay 10000 any book your seat and confirm your admission.

For all engineering courses including design, the fee is 80000 per semester and 2000 is charged as examination fee. No extra money is required to get admission. We have to pay the semester fee before it starts we cand also pay the fee in two steps or part payment. If I compare fees with all facility and placement opportunity I think it is not more I am satisfied with the fee.
