The college is good and its overall facilities are also great.

As per our designing field, we are taught about fundamentals of design, basics of sketching, working on software and basics of photography. The course is designed in such a way that all the core subjects are taught as practicals. The department also organises industrial visits at different sites so that the students learn how work carries on in an industry. We are given enough time to complete our assignments given by the faculties.

Chandigarh University is a happening place it always buzzes with activities and tones of events and activities are organised all the year-round. We have it all here may it be the cultural, technical, sports, live concerts etc. I personally love the cultural events organised from time to time.

The fee structure depends on the type, of course, you are choosing. The fee for industrial design is 160000 p. a where for b. come is 43000 p. a. The college accepts payments by online modes also as well as by cash in hand also. The fee structure is expensive but at the same time, it is worth also.

Yes, I opted for scholarship but it was based on my 12th marks. It was like first come and first served. The university also provides scholarship opportunity on the basis of cucet exam.

I personally love the life campus life. The campus is also clean and many cafe's are setup inside which provides a meal at a reasonable price. There are basketball courts and big grounds to play cricket. Time to time competitions is organised so that students take an active part in it.

Good facilities are provided to the hostellers. Food is quite healthy and good. The mess is also clean and the workers who serve food are also clean. Warm water is provided during winters. Every morning sweepers clean out the hostel rooms and they even clean all the washrooms and corridor too.

The seniors are helpful and they guide us on every step. Time to time interactions with the seniors are organised so that we learn from their experience.

To be a good designer I have chosen this course. It provides more opportunities for the students to explore more and better environment. First of all, I was asked by the counselling faculties why I came here and choose this field. Once they are satisfied with your answer, you can have a visit to the department and know more about the faculties and different studios. You can even interact with the students those are part of the university.

The faculties are also cooperative and support the students to explore more and they are available all the time to handle our queries. We have a module system in which one subject at a time is taught to us during one whole week then next week some other subject. This way we have enough time to complete our assignments and faculties can give their maximum to us to share their expertise with the students.
