Likes

The infrastructure of the college and its size is very big
There are several number of events that happens in college
Some faculties are good and very understanding

Dislikes

Some faculties are stupid and not understanding
Cucet scholarship only applicable for 1st year if you want to continue the scholarship you have to maintain 7.5 cgpa
The 75% attendance criteria this isnthe worst thing ever

Course Curriculum Overview

For my course( industrial design) the course curriculum I found good because it'll teach so many digital skills like sculpting, ui/ux, 3d modelling, transport design, product design, etc.. which made me think that this curriculum is the best

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 740000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are good in my college and it also depends on the student's skills to get placed in a good company if your skills are good you'll definitely get placed in good companies like Google, Microsoft

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees is 7,40000 I have given cucet scholarship test and got 25% scholarship so my per semester fees is 69375 if u don't have scholarship your fees will be 92500 per semester and 1,85000 yearly the exam fee is 2500 and security fee is 2000 ,there are some scholarships outside the university you can apply for it .

Campus Life

I am fresher right now I can't tell you about campus life experience much more but the campus is very good and the infrastructure is also good campus there are parks and fountains you can sit there and enjoy

Admission

I chose this college because of the fees which is lower than the other colleges also I like the infrastructure of this collage and campus is also big the other colleges have interview and exam to get in the college but not this one.

Faculty

The number of faculties is good according to the student ratio. Some faculties are very good and understanding and some have their own attitudes my Hod teacher is very understanding and supportive while my different subject teacher is not understanding and always finds mistakes in perfect work.

I choosed this curriculum because i liked it but half the college year was in covid which was online classes so we didn't get much of practical knowledge as that was very important in our course and when i see this batch and compare to my batch i see this time they are more good in teaching everything and to our batch they didn't focus much

Think once to take admission in Chandigarh University.

Placement Experience:

Companies are come for hiring students. But for our departments they are very less companies comes. Last year in interior design only 4 students were placed. And in design department the highest placement package is 7LPA only.

Career option after graduating from the Chandigarh University.

Placement Experience:

In my subject bachelor of fashion designing students are eligible for campus placement after the 5th or 6th semester and for internship after 3rd or 4th semester. Though my plan is to go for higher studies but I'll work in field too to gain more knowledge so I'll do as much as internships I can.

one of best university in india

Remarks:

CU is very big university so if someone has some problem it may take some time to resolve but it will resolve for sure. ci have student care center which is open 24x7 and where anyone can share their problem or complaint against anyone every student is allowed to meet higher authority directly some things which I don't like is the behaviour of security guard but then I think they all are doing it for us only.

A Memorable Experience

I chose chandigarh university because of its academic excellence. It is NAAC A+ college and also one of India's leading top private universities. It provides its students with large number of opportunities.. It has industry industry-oriented curriculm. Excellent placement records , one of my batchmates got place din PayPal with the package of 34 LPA. It has smart campus and infrastructure. Libraries are fully equipped with modern facilities and overall this university provides good exposure. Apart from Chandigarh University, i also applied for CSE in GNDU, Amritsar.
