Internships Opportunities
My course is related to clinical training only and they will pay stipend around 5k only that too at 6th year . Projects are related to case studies and research paper. Topics like nanoparticles , antibiotics stewardship , recents advancements in cancer treatment ,etc. Are much prefered .
Placement Experience
You have to submit project work after completion of your 6th year clinical training at a hospital . Vivas and everything will be there then if you become eligible you will be a certified and licensed pharmacist . No batch of pharm.d is passed yet so currently no idea about placement for this course . First batch is going to be passed out in 2025 only .
Fees and Financial Aid
So the fees for pharm .d is around 12 lakh but I had given cucet scholarship exam and secured 40% scholarship so I pay around 60k tuition fees per semester including examination fee 2500 and no other charges you have to pay but you have to maintain 7.5 CGPA to continue your scholarship.
Campus Life
The library at Chandigarh University is the best part of this university , the ambience is so good with all the relevant books and jounals available . Recently Chandigarh University was awarded with MAKA TROPHY so you can get an idea how good it is at sports . I'm a coordinator at NSS in CU and it gave me a lot of good opportunities and I'm also a seargent at arms at Rotaract club of Chandigarh University central. These all club are well recognised .
Admission
I only applied for Chandigarh University , saw the online branding and promotion got attracted applied online and then they contacted me informed me about all the procedures and fees details . I gave the cucet exam ,received a good scholarship so yah I joined CU.
Faculty
Faculties are quite approachable , they will help you with the review and research paper writing . Mentors are too good . Course curriculum is little bit difficult as it's more clinical related and exams of pharm.D occur once a year as its a annual course and 3 MST average marks are taken into consideration for internal marks including surprise test , assignment and quiz.
Night Life
Night life at college is all about for hostel students , girls can't roam around at campus after 8pm whereas boys have no such restriction . Cafeteria are too good and offer good and hygienic food . Tjs , food republic, kalpana chawala block , fountains are good area to hangout .
