Course Curriculum Overview

5

The placement packages and even the environment of our university influenced me to choose this course in Chandigarh University. We go through may field trips , camps and even industrial visits which really prepares us for the real-world applications and even for academic pursuits. Their are the best faculty members for our couse so their is no improvement required in the course curriculum or the teaching methods of the faculty members. The exams are of medium level and scoreable if the person had studied from the start of the year. Even time for final exams given is 3 hours for 70 marks and for MSTs is 1 hour for 30 marks.

Internships Opportunities

4

Lupin , Alembic , CliMed, Sunpharma and many other companies are avaliable for the intership processes. These companies provide us with great knowledge regarding our field and even for our working areas in the field of pharmaceutical companies or medicine preparations.

Placement Experience

4

80% of the students receive placements and the companies available for my course includes Alembic , Lupin , Climed , Sunpharma , etc. My plans after getting the degree are to receive a job in a medical / pharmaceutical industry with a good package .

Fees and Financial Aid

CUCET is the scholarship the is given by Chandigarh University by the entrance exam . This is applicable till the person receives above 7.4 cgpa in the overall examinations. Total cost without scholarship is 2 lakh 16 thousand for course and for hostel its 1 lakh for our 2022 batch.

Campus Life

5

The most of the festivals are celebrated in our campus from all over India and for foreigners their are speacial celebrations for their festivals too Their are student run groups like DSW , Rotaract club , Discipline team , DAKA for programs, etc. We get black + white boards in our classrooms with the projectors availabe in our classrooms with air conditioner and fans for ventilation.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The meal quality is average but many at times the food is very tasty of the mess and especially of breakfast. The breakfast amd lunch is too good of our university . For girls we get cooler , fan , lights , cupboards and single beds in our rooms . The registration process for hostels is directly done in the admission form and their the affordability is average for a middle class family person. Localities are Kharar , Modern town ,etc for PGs.

Admission

Eligibility for this course is PCB from 12th with 60 above percentage and the application form can be found on Chandigarh University official website . Their is no reservation benefits as much I know but this maybe possible .

5

We have a good skilled and intelligent teachers. Each and every teacher pays speacial attention towards each and every student and even we receive proper notes for our study purposes. The teachers are always helpful and even friendly with all the education skills towards our course.

Vivas and everything will be there then if you become eligible you will be a certified and licensed pharmacist . Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is totally decided by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The university has to follow up the certain protocols accordingly. The teaching method is kind of okay but there could be some improvements like amendments in the teaching process and fair conversation between teacher and the student. The examination pattern is also well like according to the subject sometimes it gets difficult but sometimes its okay.
