Course Curriculum Overview
The indepth knowledge about the design industry always compelled me to learn about this The curriculum was up to date according to the industry requirements covering each dimensions of product design, UI UX and working on the basics like color theory and sketching More practical approach is required to understand the actual industry demands The exams were conducted in every 45 Days, it was basically a mid sem and end sem jury where we were required to submit our work to the panel
Internships Opportunities
I did internship with Techies Infotech and it was a digital marketing company. I worked as Video Editing Intern And worked in many projects with local as well as international clients I got a multidimensional exposure
Placement Experience
From 7th semester, Students get eligible for campus placement Companies like Capgemini, Byjus, Microsoft visited the campus and offered 5/18 students job Highest package was 7 LPA and average package was 3.5 LPA Around 45 percent students got placed through campus placement I am planning to pursue masters
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I paid yearly fees of 79,500 INR per semester, 1,59,000 per year This was the tuition fees Caution fees was one time fee of Rs 10000 There was scholarship for sc st students and students who score good in board exams. There is a scholarship test as well named CUCET where scholarship upto 100 percent can be availed
Campus Life
The annual fests were CU Fest and CU Tech Fest Many events were conducted on a regular basis and events like Abhivyakti and Folklore where students get maximum exposure There were a Library in every academic block with the central library being the largest covering a wide range of books from deep fiction to academics Classrooms were equipped with projectors and centralised Air conditioner, with an elegant classroom There is a dedicated sports complex for sports, the university promotes sports a lot with Indian Fast Bowler Arshdeep Singh being a student of Chandigarh University Extracurricular activities like events, poetry, art used to happen on regular basic The student run Department of Students Welfare used to focus and try to resolve every problem faced by student
Hostel Facilities
Bed, study table, almirah, weekly changing menu, swift registration process, 95000 a year And daily attendance and biometric Safe hostels without ragging Round the clock inspections by warden and neat and clean mess with hygienic food
Admission
I didn't apply to any other college No The admission process is quite simple, we just need to register on their website and they will call us for the counselling process They we were required to visit the campus and further process the admission with submitting 10,000 rs as registration fee The college accepts admission by every competitive exam and a scholarship test get conducted by the college itself
Faculty
Student to faculty ratio was 18:1 Faculty were really amazing They used to treat all of us like friends Harsh Sir, Rahul Sir, Are the best faculties. I liked them because they always stood by my side supporting me during placement drives I didn't like Shivani mam, because she used to discriminate Regular mid sems and end sems were conducted of moderate level , in my batch no one failed the exams, the course curriculum was designed to abide by the industry requirement
