Chandigarh University Teaching Assistant Stipend
Chandigarh University offers a teaching assistant option for M.Sc and M.E. students for a maximum duration of ten months in a year. The university offers INR 5,000 to INR 8,000 per month under this scheme.

Students securing a 9.0 or above CGPA will be given a 10% scholarship if they are not availing of any other scholarship.
Chandigarh University Scholarship for Wards of Defence Personnel
Chandigarh University offers concession under the “Armed Forces Educational Welfare Scheme” (AFEWS) for Wards/Spouses of Defence Personnel. 5% seats in all courses of Chandigarh University shall be reserved for the wards and spouses of Defence Martyrs and their immediate dependent members. Chandigarh University offers an Early Bird Scholarship to M.E. candidates as per the following conditions-
- A 15% scholarship is given to students who have completed B.E. from Chandigarh University, provided they pay the full semester fee at the time of admission.

Chandigarh University Other Scholarships
Chandigarh University offers different types of concessions to students as follows:
- Old Student Concession Policy to Promote Higher Education: Chandigarh University students of the entire CGC group who seek admission to CU after qualifying degree/diploma will be provided a scholarship equivalent to 10% of the yearly fee for the entire duration of the course.
- Single Girl Child Concession: CU provides a 10% concession on the yearly fee to single girl child students for the entire duration of the course.
- Teacher’s Ward Concession: Chandigarh University provides a 10% concession on the yearly fee to the wards of teachers for the entire duration of the course. This scheme includes Teachers of Govt. / Govt. Recognized Schools/ Colleges/ Universities provide a teacher should have at least one year of regular service.
- Sibling Concession: Chandigarh University offers a 10% concession on the yearly fee to one of the siblings studying in any institute of CU, till the time both the siblings are studying in the university. This concession will be continued even after the passing out of one sibling.
- Concession to Girl Sibling: Chandigarh University provides a 10% concession on yearly fees to both female siblings for the entire duration of the course.
- For Orphan Candidates: CU offers a 20% and 10% concession in the case of the orphan candidate and single parent respectively.
- Chandigarh University Alumni Scholarship: CU offers a 10% concession to the real brother/ sister/ spouse/ wards of the alumni student of the university.
- Scholarship for Students who have participated in National Children Science Congress: The top 10 winners of NCSC will be given a 100% tuition fee waiver if they take admission to any of the UG course at Chandigarh University. All the participants of NCSC will be entitled to a 10% scholarship.
Condition for Continuation of Other Concession: The students admitted under all the above-said schemes, having passed the regular semester exam on first chance (with NO “E”, “F”, “I” or “Not Qualified” grades) are eligible for continuation of concession.
