The course is designed in such a way that all the core subjects are taught as practical, The curriculum is based on the requirements of the design industry regular industrial visits to factories and design studios are organized by the department/ we are taught the fundamentals of design, Basics of fine arts. Some subjects are related to photography also. more emphasis is given on learning digital tools like digital sketching and rendering. 3D software along with the surfacing software are also in our curriculum, We also have industrial training and projects

The course is in its third year. The first batch will pass in 2021. Companies will visit in the coming session. The university has record placements for engineering management and other courses with the average package above 5 lacs pa. Moreover, the university has tie-ups with many Design Studios and the palcement process will start in the coming academic session.

The per semester fee for B. design (INdustrial design) is 85000. there is a concession for the students who score good marks in CUCET. CUCET is an entrance exam conducted by the university. there are slabs of fee concession based on percentage of marks in the test. one can get up to 100% scholarship if he scores above 95%.

As no batch has passed from our department so there are no alumni of the department. however alumni from other departments have strong network. there is an Alumni meet every year wherein a good number of alumni come and share their experiences.

Procedure of admission eligibility criteria 50% marks in 10+2 NO entrance exam for INdustrial design but there is CUCET for other technical fields 10+2 all streams

there are 04 faculty in our department each one has expertise in his respective domain, Two of them have field and industry experience of more than 10 years and hold master’s degrees in their respective domain. One faculty is PhD with 11+ teaching experience. the fourth faculty member has masters in design with a one-year teaching experience.
