- Campus: Pretty huge and nice campus full of green

- Not worth the money. Not recommended at all
- Huge crowd very difficult to stand out from crowd huge huge amount of students
- Less to learn and professors aren’t cooperative at all
Placement Experience:
The placements were good if I compare them with the other private colleges
But the main problem was the crowd
The crowd was huge very huge if we will compare it with the number of companies visited
If the crowd was still like half of what it is
The placements could be said good

- The architecture of the campus cannot be told in words, the campus is very huge and beautiful filled with greenery and each building and classroom is very pretty all air conditioned
- All the amenities are made available for you
- The college curriculum is very articulated and specially curated and improved each semester, everything goes in the flow and the education is top notch
Dislikes
- There is not much to do around the campus, initially there is a lot to explore but after a year things get boring and there is nothing to do around, even if u take a cab and try to roam around u would not find anythung
- There is too much crowd in the college, in some sense it is too overpopulated, buzzy and noisy you will have to work very hard to avail a nice package
- There is quite some discrimination between the local students and the students who do not belong to Odisha
Placement Experience:
You are eligible for placements after 3rd year and they start polishing you for the interviews, all th majore companies visit the college like delliot microsoft kp morgan along with otjer mass recruiters, they even have an office on campus where yog can get placed or work as in intern from second year onwards. The hughest package obtained was 52 lakhs and lowest is around 4-6 lakhs, almsot 80-85% get places.
I plan on doing a job after my graduation then study mtech

- Friendly and supportive facilities who helped us also for the academic purposes
- Cafeteria was always open for students who wanted to get food themselves in pockets friendly
- Best moment for me was spending a unforgettable memories with my friends special in hostel
Dislikes
- Hostel Wardens behaviour was never good with us.
- Fresher's hygiene in hostel specially. People didn't have basic education of using toilet
- Fresher's used to miss behave with cooks of hostel while they wanted to serve with smile
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course structure was always make us taught new aspects of life. It totally contains beneficial use for the betterment of our future
As our faculties always make sure to no one is left behind to clear their concept for the studies

- The amount of students in the btech cse course.
- It gets too irritating after seeing so much population for same course.
Placement Experience:
In the current scenario the placement opportunity is on a bit lower side, it's the same scenario for all the Universities throughout the country due to he recession or the companies are not hiring that aggressively. You have to work hard to make a chance of getting the campus placement.

- Literally, there is everywhere greenery around
- You don't have to roam around for any particular thing... everything is available nearby
- Hostels have reading room which have ACs installed
Dislikes
- Placements are getting bad year by year here
- Some teachers are the worst, you can't get rid off them
- Odia students are given more priority as usual
Placement Experience:
The placements are good but only for some branches (IT, CSE, CSSE, CSCE)...if you are getting any one of these...do come, otherwise don't think about this college.
The placements are very good if you are in the top 5% of students and you will be get placed if you practice DSA from 2nd or 3rd year.

- Infrastructure; KIIT has a really amazing campus and allows students to take full advantage of all the state of art facilities the campus provides.
- Course curriculum; the curriculum is well rounded and facilitates learning in an efficient and integrated manner.
- Social life; You get to meet a diverse range of people who inculcate a sense of self in the students.
Dislikes
- Student-Teacher relationship is not the best. The college needs to inculcate practices that bridges the gap between mentors and students.
- Placements get stressful because of lack of proper structure and communication.
- Hostel food can see a lot of improvement both in terms of quality and variety.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from around the 5th semester. Many companies offer internship opportunities with a performance-based PPO conversion to students in the pre-final year/final year. Proper campus placements happen to start 6th sem.
- A number of companies come to KIIT including Amazon, TESCO, Nvidia, Walmart, TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture and others.
The highest package in my batch was 40LPA and was offered to a couple of my batchmates by TESCO. The average package for my batch was around 7LPA. A good percentage of students got placed. I am currently employed in Pwc (Campus Placed) after getting my degree.

- The campus life is very excellent you got so many food courts around each campus, along with bus facilities to drop you around the campus along with that you got all varieties of street food to eat the along with that you got great greenery in campus
- The faculties here are good the have good educational background. My mentors had background from great colleges like IIT and NIT had PhD in their domains. The lab classes were fun they have excellent equipment and virtual classes to teach efficiently
- the college provided us with many opportunities of growing in different fields such as sports dramatics or attending MUN's that helped me grow. We had great hostels and rooms.
Dislikes
- The food is not very good and some sreas of hostel are not hygenic
- The security in college is not up to the mark people tend to disrupt the harmony among students which need to be looked into as a serious matter.
Placement Experience:
Starting from 5th sem you are elegible to get placements and the placement are not the same that they show it varies differntly for every branch. The minimum package is around 3lpa to 45lpa.
Around 80% students get placed in on campus placement.

- Sports facilities are too good includes synthetic tracks, many swimming pools, cricket grounds, badminton court, volleyball court, hockey ground and many other things.This year many athletes from KiiT went to Paris Olympics 2024
- Management doesn't comes in between couples even when you are in campus. Seen many things here ifykyk
- Here marks are not just based on what you write on paper. It is also based on labs and classes you attend.
Dislikes
- As like any other private college too many students especially in CSE and some professors are good some are always in badlapur mode.
- Can't take leave otherwise it will disrupt your marks and defaulter class is only one per subject.
- Facilities provided to girls are better than boys for same fees. Especially for mess, menu of girls is far better than boys. In campus bus services is provided only to girls even if it raining which is very unpredictable here in Bhubaneswar.
Placement Experience:
Students from the 4th year become eligible for placement and for internship, we are eligible for 3rd year. As I am in 1st year I don't know about that much exact status of placement. My plan is to prepare for IES if I don't get a good placement from the college.

- But if you have to mention something then it has to be the mess food

During internship which is in the final year of mbbs kims appoints their own students for an year and if interested the students could join kims hospital as an graduate mbbs doctor or can apply for pg courses.

- Subjects that are not useful in engineering are taught here
Course Curriculum Overview:
Computer Science Teachers are good here and the programs for cse students are quite helpful for skill development
The questions given by teachers are quite difficult which may help in interview questions
Faculties should encourage students for internship form 2nd year onwards.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
