Good but not the best

The new education policy has enhanced the curriculum with most of the theory subjects being completed before the final year, which will be fully used to gain hand on skills. We also have the option to choose professional elective throughout our course which help to gain some of the industrial concepts.

The training and placement cell provide us with more than enough internship opportunities. The training cell invites companies such as Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Providence, Cognizant etc. The main focus is on the DSA part as it will help you clear the initial rounds, in current scenario the project hold less importance than the DSA.

In the current scenario the placement opportunity is on a bit lower side, it's the same scenario for all the Universities throughout the country due to he recession or the companies are not hiring that aggressively. You have to work hard to make a chance of getting the campus placement.

The institute fee charged by the university is 175,000 per semester which becomes 350,000 per year and 1,400,000 for 4 years. If we it see it from the perspective of the institute fee compared to othered university it is on a bit higher side. Except this we have to pay registration fee of 1,000 for each semester, exam fee of 1,000 for each end semester exam. When it comes to hostel there are various categories available and the most basic or affordable one of 3 bed non AC comes at 28,000 per semester excluding the mess fee, the hostel fee can go upto 80,000 per semester on the basis of your choice. And the mess fee is 22,500 per semester.

There are various functions conducted by different societies of the University. The most important one is the Kiit fest and it is a 3 day program, hosted by the students itself and the society/club organise different functions and competition to make it more interesting. All the clubs are run by the students and there is one professor for guiding them.

The hostel facility is average, the 3 bed non AC rooms have but less space to accommodate 3 persons. The hostel have washing machine facility as well as reading room for students in most of the hostels. The meal quality is not good as we don't get variety and also a limited food is offered.

The placement opportunity provide by this college was better compared to other universities at that point. I also had a limited courses/ University to choose from and this one has a good reputation. The admission process of this college was easy and no complexities, with the admission fee being refundable.

The faculty to student ratio is better than expected, we can avail help from our professors for each and every thing. Some of professors are so helpful aur treat you like your child. Some of the professors that I would appreciate are Ajay Anand, Nikita Mahapatra, Anil Kumar Swain. There are 2 exams conducted per semester, one of 20 marks and one of 50 marks, and the rest 30 marks are internal marks. The mid sems are easier than the end sem exams.
