Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are designed in very old way No new technologies Even they take final year project very lightly I literally have learned everything from my own Do not ever rely on this college course to learn new things
Placement Experience
The placements were good if I compare them with the other private colleges But the main problem was the crowd The crowd was huge very huge if we will compare it with the number of companies visited If the crowd was still like half of what it is The placements could be said good
Fees and Financial Aid
The Semester fee was 175000/-Rs Each semester is was same My hostel was 3bed AC and the accomodation charge was 50000/-Rs per Semester The mess charge was 28000/-Rs per Semester During my time I got a Kiitee rank of 330 So I was offered a scholarship of 10000 per month throughout the course but the condition was to have a minimum of 75 percent attendance and 7.5 cgpa
Campus Life
If you are the one searching for just a good campus life Great campus, sports facilities and just infrastructure Kiit is the place It has one of the best campus in india and one of the best sports facilities But again crowd is huge so you have to even fight there
Hostel Facilities
I opted for 3bed Ac It was good faced no problems Had no power cuts ever The AC run time was 24/7 Coming to meal It was 50:50 I would say east people were totally okay with it but north west indians may face problems in it because the culture and food is totally different
Admission
I could not get into any of IITs or NITs Other option i had was private colleges I wanted to opt for cse only The options i had were KIIT,SRM chennai,VIT chennai and Thapar(Electronics) I choose KIIT because I was getting a scholarship there of 500000 entirely during my course also my elder brother is a KiiT graduate too So had a bit of connections too at Kiit
Faculty
Because of the huge crowd The student to faculty ratio is horrible Its like around 1:80 The difficulty level of exams are pretty easy You will easily score a minimum of 7.5 cgpa even if you study the last day before exam
