- Here labs are very good you will get every instrument to do your research work

Placement Experience:
Placements in IIT Bhubaneswar are decent enough. In SMMME, companies like applied materials are frequent recruiters. Professors help to get placed in companies like tata steel and other such metallurgical companies through their excellent network and references.

- Environment, infrastructure is quite good. Large campus about 950 acres.
- Student activities center is really excellent.

- Humidity is too much during hot days, irritating.
- For each and everything we need to depend on cycling.

Campus placement are quite good. A person will good nskill set will definitely get a better package compared to others. Average package will be around 500000 and highest will go around 600000 depending on branch.

- The thing i liked the most about this is the vast green campus
- All the faculties are truly genius,holding prestigious doctorate and post doctorate degrees from reputed universities across the globe
Dislikes
- Infrastructural development is still going on and hence sometimes it creates problems for the campus residents
- Lack of centralised timetable which inhibits the students from choosing courses of their interests
Placement Experience:
The highest salary offered till date is indeed very good while the mean offered varies between different branches. Around 90 percent of the students get placed. Many good core and non-core companies come for placement. The highest ctc offered is Rs 6400000.

- The sports facility is good enough to maintain our physical health

The College brings several companies like Google,Microsoft, Goldman sachs etc for the sake of students to apply for the jobs in their last year of graduation.In 2024,the highest package in this college is about 60 lakhs and average of 27 lakhs.

- The college infrastructure is very good. It provides an ample amount of research opportunities. It also provides an extensive curriculum for the students

- The campus is very far away from city creating lots of problems in travel.
- The campus doesn't have enough sports opportunities for students.

The institute being a premier ones boasts a good amount of placement. Almost every year it provides more than 85% placement for all the branches and 100% of selective branches too. The companies where the students are placed are also reputed ones and get well paid jobs

As of now the placements of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneshwar is decent. It is very good if compared to the tier 2 colleges and low when compared to tier 1 colleges. The avg package is 10lpa and highest is 64lpa as of 2023

Course Curriculum Overview:
As metallurgy is one of the oldest branch it has its own importance. our institution labs are well equipped(nearly, I wont say they are the best) they help in gaining practical knowledge. we have two exams in one sem, one is mid sem and next is end sem.Difficulty level is quite high

- The weather here and the constant sea breeze we get everyday
- The sceneries we get here everyday with the mountains and the forests

- The humidity of the whole place and the stickiness.
- The slow working management in every canteen in the campus
Placement Experience:
The Placements for Computer science here are really good and for other circuital branches it's good too. For the non-circuital branches, the average package goes to nearly 16 LPA, which is not bad for a second generation IIT.

- Playing sports with friends, like recently we'e to inter-iit which is used to held every year and it was really amazing.
- Spending time with friends especially during the night time.
Dislikes
- Probably I don't have much things to dislike here but still I find lot of difficulties which conveying anything to an odia people.
- In our mess, there is not any separate column for vegetarians.

IITs offer a very good package actually. Being a second generation IIT, our college is growing day by day and our professors are working very hard to improve the placement activities. Although it is not that much bad. Average package in our college is more than 10 lakhs.

- We were provided with with single room occupations in our first years .
- The lecture halls are really nice and are centralised air conditioned
Dislikes
- Weather in this city is unpredictable and most of the times very hot
- Message food is not up to mark and sometimes we find insects in it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am currently in my first year soon to become a senior. In first year , course for all branches is same . I chose this course because there were only few options for me to get admission in an IIT. Exams are conducted 2 times per semester within gap of approx 2 months .It's difficulty level depends on which faculty member is setting up the question paper.

What is your review of Centre for Entrepreneurship, IIT Bhubaneswar?
The Centre of Entrepreneurship at IIT Bhubaneswar is pretty good and slowly developing. It was inaugurated on 20th June 2016 by Prof. R. V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar. The Department of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India sanctioned 1.50 Crore for the establishment of this canter. The vision behind the establishment of this startup center was to have an enrollment of a minimum of 10 startups in the 1st year of its commencement. The facilities provided at the Centre of Entrepreneurship are food court facility, lodging facility, working/office space, internet facility, electricity facility, laboratory facility, mentoring services, and seed grant maximum up to 2.5 lakh. For the selection procedure, initiation letters for opening startups are yet to be given. Form A is for individuals and teams and form B is for Registered Units Ancillaries and Subsidiaries of establishment Firms. This cell can prove to be a good initiative provided the management and faculty implement innovative ideas too. The highlight of this center is their conduction of Esummit. It is a two-day event which hosted lectures by eminent personalities across various domains. The Centre of Entrepreneurship also organized a workshop on “Funding Opportunities and Legal Aspects of Startups” on 9 April 2016.
