Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen computer science and engineering assignment in the present, computer science is in top position in terms of jobs.According to that basis I have joined in this course.The exams are conducted on the subject which had been taught in the class to identify the pros and cons.

Class Size: 84Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internships are offered to students in the third year in their graduation.companies like Microsoft,Google etc offers internships to the students based on a exam conducted by them as well as grades in the colleges exam.

Placement Experience

The College brings several companies like Google,Microsoft, Goldman sachs etc for the sake of students to apply for the jobs in their last year of graduation.In 2024,the highest package in this college is about 60 lakhs and average of 27 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees varies from semester to semester.In the first semester ,the tuition fees was about 1,30,000 and hostel fees of 18,000.There is a loan facility to help the students who cannot afford to pay the fees with low interest rates.

Campus Life

IIT BBS is third largest campus in IITs which is of 1000 acres.It contains different flora.Recently,The college has been developing fast as of construction of buildings.The sports facility is equipped with gym and indoor badminton and table tennis facility.There is also a swimming facility which will be opened soon.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels in this college are of single person rooms equipped with wifi facility.The meals are prepared such that all the students from different parts of country can eat.There is also a canteen facility beside the hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 33000 per year

Admission

To join in this college, student need to write jee advanced exam.For joining cse department,the open closing rank is about 3100.For,ews the closing rank is about 352.we can apply to jee advanced exam,once a year and first should pass in jee mains to write this exam.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:13 presently but it would decrease in future as the number of faculties are increasing.The faculty are well experienced in their domains learnt from different prestigious colleges.

Placement Experience:

Placements are praiseworthy here. In my branch , average package is around INR 4 lakhs. There are good opputunities about getting a high paid job due to wide connectivity of the placement cell of the university. Its near 97 to 98 percent placement in all branches every year. My plans are to pursue higher studies since I am more allied to research purpose than industry working.

The placement in my colleagues pretty much decent as the average package goes this year is 8.5 for all the branches and for CSE it is around 13.5 lakh and they also white many big MNC like Amazon JP Morgan etc..

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as JSW, Delloite, Tata Power, Bitwise, Aditya Birla Group, Infosys, Aqua Green, etc come to campus. Their average package differs from 3LPA to 6LPA. Some companies ask CGPA of more than 6 while other asks for 8. I'll be pursuing an M.Tech after getting a B.Tech Degree.

Placement Experience:

Students are allowed for placements from the fourth year only. There are many companies that visit Kiit like Amazon, TCS, tech Mahindra and GE. Almost 80% students get placed. My plan is to do mtech after it.

Kiit: a good choice?

Placement Experience:

Placements are average. Students become eligible from 3 year. A few companies like tcs, google ( rare) , tata steels, mahindra, etc. Average package is 9 lacks, highest package is 62 lacks. 50 % of students were offered placements. My plans after getting the degree is to study abroad.

In 6th semester, Placement opportunities are available and the criteria is more than 7.0 CGPA,No backlog. Based on the company criteria Many companies like TCS,Tech Mahindra, Wipro,Q-spider, Flipkart, Infosys, Aditya Birla group and 50+ others companies,No offers more than 330+ 75% of students are placed. Kiit college-not too good not too bad
