Faculty to student ratio is 14:1, which is quite good. They are very approachable and amicable. They are always available in their offices or over mail or text or call. There are two exams in one semester, mid sem and end sem. Very few students fail the exams.

In IIT academics are bit tough as there are min 80% attendance needed to sit in exams. And you have get in atleast 2/3 course credit. There two papers in one semester 1. Midsem(30% weightage) 2. Endsem(50%wieghtage) And rest 20% are in hands of profs based on internal assessment. Exams are not so difficult and can be covred if pay attention in classes. There is decent 1:60 faculty student ratio. Which further assisted by TA's(teaching assistant)

IIT Bhubaneswar does not put any such age restrictions over faculty recruitment. Only for the post of Assistant Professor, the applicant must be below 35 years of age. There should be a consistently very good academic record maintained. They also require evidence of the applicant’s ability to pursue independent high-quality research.
Furthermore, university toppers at Bachelors and Masters Level are encouraged to apply.
The experience level requirements are different for different posts:-

IIT Bhubaneswar has a lot of talented professors at its service which has till now produced around 2000+ research papers. Some of the professors worth mentioning are as follows:
The list might have passed over some of the names but the fact that being qualified enough to teach in a premier institute such as IIT Bhubaneshwar itself tells the quality of the faculty.
IIT Bhubaneshwar is at the 22nd rank in the NIRF 2020 ranking. However, there are many other IITs like IIT Madras, Delhi, Bombay, Kharagpur, and Kanpur among others, which are ranked higher than IIT Bhubaneshwar.
Looking at the parameter of placement in the CSE branch, it is quite impressive with a placement rate of 100%. Some reputed companies were present in the placement drives conducted in the college. In 2018, Adobe visited the college and offered the highest package, which was worth INR 38 lakh per annum. Similarly, Goldman Sachs had offered a package of 31.5 lakh to three students from the CSE branch.
The infrastructure required for the CSE branch is also quite well at IIT Bhubaneshwar. The college provides essential facilities like Wi-Fi network, computer laboratories, smart classes, library, and gymnasium.
The faculty is well-qualified and most of them are IIT alumnae and have Ph.D. The student to faculty ratio is 1 teacher to 40 students, which is not very impressive. However, the faculty provides students with elaborated notes and PowerPoint presentations to teach them in recreational ways.
Considering the academics and placement rate it’s clear that CSE at IIT Bhubaneswar is quite good.
IIT Bhubaneswar placements have been witnessing excellent records. The BTech batch has recorded 82% placements and the M.Tech batch has recorded 84% placements. The highest package stood at INR 55.75 LPA whereas the average package stood at INR 17.68 LPA for the B.Tech batch and INR 12.36 LPA for the M.Tech batch.

The list of major labs that will help you in the mechanical engineering course are as follows:
Apart from laboratories, you will also have the support of well-qualified faculties which will not only help you in understanding your course curriculum but also will guide you in your future career. The school of mechanical science employs more than 200 staff. You can visit the official website and easily access the details of all the staff members. The faculties are very friendly with students and are also involved in basic research in their own areas of specialization. However, I believe that it’s the student and his effort which makes him draw maximum benefit and knowledge from the faculties. As the institute provides you with a blend of the best theoretical and practical learning experience, so I’ll recommend you to work hard during the duration of your course.
