my experience in first year

i picked this course due to i didnt get any admission in any other iits so i chose this one and civil is somewhat good compared to other branches i got in other colleges.i took civil course and started preparing for cse. i didnt see till now because i am in firstb year but my seniors told and my deaan told few days agoi that from 2nd year onwards internships startys and we have societies also like tech and cult. more infrastructure is need to develop because thius is 2nd gen iit . mid sem , end sem every semester which for each you can start preparing from 15 days before exam .we have all types of labs first year so that every engineering student know basics of every branch

i dont know about last years but this year we have 1 fest ehich is in april 2025 last year it were three but this year they got decreased .this year fest name is pravah. we have vast library and during exams we have library open for 24 hours and also if we dont have in library we have online koha library. we have projector and boardand speakers in class our classrooms are also advanced too. we have sports fest and every sunday we have yoga and we have nss and ncc too. we have socities like tech and cult in that we have dance,singing,cinematography,programming,photography,editing and others etc too.

i got this college from josaa counselling and i didnt reject any other colleges but i didnt get others but i got chance to go to iit jabalpur according josaa counselling entries but iit is iit so i chose this. from josaa after getting seat allotment letter you can apply for admission and we need to take health tests that need to be submitted in online and also certificates like 12th ,10th and obc .

all the faculty members are good teachers but each professor had theit own mindset . now i am in first year so i dont know much about other professors but they have their own attitude and student ratio for 10 students there is assigned a faculty advisor who takes care of academic and extra curricular activites of evry student under them. and my favouriite professors are narsa reddy tummuru who teaches electrical technology heach teaches subtopic deatiled way so he is my favurite and for maths mahendra kumar gupta - he is the professor who teaches good ,not bad. i dont want to. mention which professors i didnt like. for exams mid sem , end sem are there for each sem and in first sem i had three labs for end sem we have lab test and other four subjects like maths ,mechanics ,physics and programming. most of them clear the exam but some fail in mecahnics and electrical technology in first sem .in first year subjects are not as much as related to branch i choosen.

I didn't have any interview but I have given written test for college of jee advanced test which is of 360 marks of 2 papers on one day mornig one paper of 180 marks and afternoon of 180 marks it is the second toughest exam in the world .

i dont want to share much about these my personal things i do because its privacy issue but i can tell some like from morning 7 to 9 am we have tiffin timings and lunch from 12 to 2:30 pm and snacks timing from 5 to. 6:30 pm and dinner from 8 to 10:30 pm from morning 8 am to evening 4:30pm we have classes. gym and basketball court where i9 hangout
