Mumbai University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Since last semester the placements are started in companies. Their huge no of offers is present. The package is 200000 to 300000 available. But the highest percentage gets first placement. My plans after college doing a high-package job.

I chose the course as for me commerce is a versatile and expansion field to explore in my career. Faculty Student ratio was 8:60 as this was as per subjects allocated to the class. Qualification of the faculty was good but to be frank we never used to know which faculty has what qualification at that time & teaching method of the faculty used to be good and different for each faculty. Final Exams were once a year as per the university pattern and before that internal exams used to be there to improve knowledge and difficulty level was too high as only 1 attempt used to be there to pass and not more than 2ATKT was allowed to move ahead to another year. So the difficulty level was very high.

There are many placements are conducted in our college. Companies like HDFC, LIC, TCS, WIPRO, etc do conduct interviews, and packages may vary from company to company. And they select candidates according to their needs and candidates efficiency. Currently, I'm doing a job in Asian paints as a sales team.

1) From Semester VI students participate in placements. 2)Numbers of companies visited the college campus. 3)Unaware 4)15-20% of students get placement because of their good academic reports. 5)I started my career building from FYBcom by doing a part-time job.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for placements, companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, HCL participate in placement. The highest package went up to 5 LPA and the average was 3lpa. More than 80% of students were placed. I was already working hence didn't require any placement assistance.

I chose M. Com, as I am good with numbers and enjoy accounts. We had a highly trained Professor and they guided us out of the curriculum as well. Exams were timed in accordance with Mumbai University and were easy if studied well.

Because the rating and review of this college was really good. Also since I play sports, this college has an accredated A+ which is a really good place for people who are into sports and encourage athlete in every aspect of the academics. The faculty here is really good.

Students get eligible from the 2nd year of their PG course. Sem 3 I must say. But there are no placements offered. My plans after getting a degree - was to do a business of my own or work where I enjoy working you know.

Many companies visit for job requirements and highest level placement needed college profile is also a good percentage depend on companies to hire and getting placements my plan is for getting settle in life.
