Remarks
Eligibility was as per the University of Mumbai criteria ie above 50%. The application form was Physically available at the college at that time and application fees had to pay at the fee counter. No reservation was availed by me. Yes as now everything is online as per University guidelines but still, students who stay interior part of the states should get access to the offline mode or should get proper guidance to take admission to their chosen colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course as for me commerce is a versatile and expansion field to explore in my career. Faculty Student ratio was 8:60 as this was as per subjects allocated to the class. Qualification of the faculty was good but to be frank we never used to know which faculty has what qualification at that time & teaching method of the faculty used to be good and different for each faculty. Final Exams were once a year as per the university pattern and before that internal exams used to be there to improve knowledge and difficulty level was too high as only 1 attempt used to be there to pass and not more than 2ATKT was allowed to move ahead to another year. So the difficulty level was very high.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees at that time were high as per the spending power of the family and which was not that good as per cost to study. Fees of college should be as per the inflation rate of the country as many students & parents cannot afford to choose the best colleges due to this.
Campus Life
The annual Fest's name was Expressions & Alegria and it was the best & biggest fest of Mumbai & Navi Mumbai. The library was big with N numbers of books available for all the courses segregated by sections of schools. It was Black Board, Benches at that time. Sports & Extra Curricular activities on the campus are the best part as it takes great initiatives to promote sports for all the students There were no clubs & Social groups at that time.
