Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of this course has been designed in a very comprehensive manner it includes mostly the industry-relevant subjects which would enhance one's knowledge from the industrial perspective. To tell about the curriculum of this course it includes the programming languages which are widely used nowadays and the other subjects which play a crucial role for further academic or industrial pursuits like OS, Software Engineering, data visualization, etc. Teachers are also supportive which makes learning a more easy process. In total 2 exams are mainly taken among which one is taken in the mid of the respectiv sem and another one is our final sem exams. Sem exams have medium to hard difficulty level whereas the sem exam are mostly moderate-level exams. In between the teachers also take some practice tests for the betterment of their performances as well. Most importantly along with the regular curriculum they also provide interdisciplinary courses and even skill credit courses.

Placement Experience

3.5

For this course, students become eligible by 6th semester as we must have about 90 hrs of internship completed by the fifth semester to get enrolled in the next semester which makes us gain knowledge about the job roles and our specifications related to the career we wanna pursue. Companies like L&T, TCS, and WIPRO were among the recruiting companies. There's a placement cell in the college that tirelessly puts effort into helping students get jobs. The highest package was INR 7.5 L. A and average till now is INR 3.5 L. A. For this course, there is a comparatively lower percentage of students getting placed but still, many of them have been recruited to top-notch companies. Talking about my plans after getting the degree is to pursue an MSc in AI.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a total of 3-5 year course and the yearly fees of this course are between 47000-50000 so at an average, the overall educational fees for this course is under 150000. Which is quite affordable with the wide variety of campus facilities and quality education.

Campus Life

Pillai College offers a vibrant campus life enriched with diverse events and excellent facilities. ANNUAL AND TECHNICAL FESTIVALS: The college hosts the grand annual fest Alegria in January or February featuring celebrities and cultural events, Bitfest focuses on tech activities like Hackathons and Tech Alegria recent addition dedicated to technology. Admission

For the candidate to be eligible for pursuing a BSc computer science degree from PCACS needs to have passed 12th with mathematics as one of the subjects in their HSC and should have secured above 60% in their HSC exam. Application forms have to be collected from the college office and while submitting the application form candidate have to submit their documents that are specified by the college, no application fees is there and we have to collect the application forms when the admission dates are released on PCACS official website and have to submit before the date given for form submission and wait for the merit list to be released and then the admission fees paying process starts. The overall admission process was very smooth but they could give out the admission forms on their official website as well for more enhanced and smooth process.

Faculty

5

The faculty here are knowledgeable, effective, approachable and supportive towards the students, they undertake new new stratergies to make it easy for students to persue the subject of their interest, they are very cooperative as well as supportive even for the off-curriculum skill building of students as well. I am having a knowledgable and acknowledgeable journey with my teaching faculty. Campus has a considerate faculty-to-student ratio even with or without that the teaching faculty here are very cooperative they work on building the students. we can approach the teachers whenever we need be it offline or by any other medium.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum. And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this. And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.
