Sir J. J. College of Architecture is an architecture college situated in Mumbai city in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is one of the most famous and heritage colleges in India as its history can be traced back up to 1857. The college campus is rented to the Maharashtra Government as per the deeds of Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy (Sir J. J.). The college comprises two buildings where the departments are placed and also consist of a small building which consists of the workshop. The college was reorganized and established in the year of 1913 to make it suitable for Architectural training. Sir JJ College of Architecture Mumbai is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Sir JJ College of Architecture Mumbai Admission
Admissions to the Sir JJ College of Architecture are made both online as well as offline. Applicants can either fill the application form online by providing the scanned copy of the required documents or else they can either apply offline by directly visiting the college and are asked to bring the required documents along with them. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the college.
Candidates who wish to apply for the B. Arch course must score a valid score in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) examination or in JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination). One needs to complete HSC from science field in order to be eligible for the entrance exam . One can go for both JEE part 2 as well as NATA exams. This college is 2nd best college in Maharashtra and has a good name outside of Maharashtra so the entrance score should be more than the average score in order to get admission.

The course deals with providing an advance approach to the details study of architecture which includes a variety of structures such as apartment buildings, hospitals, airport terminals, office, factories, schools, houses etc. The duration of the course is 2 years in which we are taught subjects like landscape planning, contemporary processes in architectural design (Module 1 & Module 2), portfolio production and web design, research methodology, GIS Modelling in Urban planning, building information modeling. This course helps the students to find lucrative fields like country planning, state housing boards, public work departments, etc.
