21 Jun, 2025 Garware Institute of Career Education and Development Mumbai has extended the Online Pre-Registration deadline for UG Admission 2025 upto June 27, 2025. Aspirants must register online @mu.ac.in/admission and should also submit the college application form separately. The merit lists will be released at the institute level if seats remain vacant. Garware Institute of Career Education and Development Mumbai has released the First Merit List for PG Admission 2025. The selected candidates must pay the fees by June 21, 2025 (5 PM). Further, the Second Merit List will be out on June 24, 2025 (6 PM). For more details, Click Here.

29 May, 2025 Garware Institute of Career Education and Development Mumbai UG Fee Structure 2025-2026 is out. The total academic fee is ₹ 50,000 -₹ 14.64 Lakhs.

Garware Institute of Career Education and Development Mumbai has also released PG Fee Structure 2025-2026. The total academic fee is ₹ 66,000 -₹ 8.41 Lakhs.

Garware Institute of Career Education and Development (GICED) is a Private Institute located in Mumbai, Maharashtra and was established in the year 1984. The Institute is affiliated to University of Mumbai and accredited with ‘Grade A’ by NAAC. GICED offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma courses in multiple fields of study.

GICED Undergraduate Courses and Eligibility

Candidates seeking admission to the Undergraduate courses offered by GCIED must have passed in 10+2 (Relevant Discipline). Final selections to these courses (except for Aviation and Sports Management) will be done on the basis of Scores obtained in Online Test/ Written Test followed by Personal Interview.

However, admission to the Aviation program is based on the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview and admissions to the Sports Management program will be done through an Online Test called SMAT (Sports Management Admission Test) followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

GICED Postgraduate and PG Diploma Courses Eligibility

Admissions to all the Postgraduate/ PG Diploma programs are offered to the candidates with Graduation in Relevant Stream. Final Selection to these courses (Except for Sports Management) are done through Aptitude Test/ Written Test followed By Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the institute.

However, selections to the Master’s program in Sports Management are done either through MAH-CET/ SMAT (Sports Management Admission Test)/ MMS-CET/ MBA-Online followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum included world geography, Indian and international tourism aspects, organisation management and air ticketing. There were also grooming sessions on how to get dressed well and look profeesional. We had presentations and group projects on various topics related to travel industry.there were field visits to tourism development corporations, various road shows and we also traveled a lot during our course. We also had an internship of 3 months to be completed to gain knowledge of how the corporate companies in travel and tourism actually worked. It gave us first hand experience on what to anticipate once we have been placed in the company. I was fortunate enough to get an on campus placement during the course itself into a reputed tour operator.
