Likes
- Safety on the campus is awesome with almost no safety concern.
- Peer group: The peer group and set of students that surround you are the best among the country and the energy inside the campus is amazing.
Dislikes
- The gender ratio is quite bad, very few girl students for such a prestigious institute as IITB
- The hostel rooms for 2nd and 3rd year UG students are very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course coz I like the iit tag. Lots of opportunities here. V bright students and faculties. Faculties are v highly intelligent, and teaching methods are not v good tho. Exams were timely and difficult exams

- So many cultural and academic clubs to join
- A great platform for exposure and to explore yourselves
Dislikes
- Some faculty members don't allow using laptops during the class even for notes
- Some classes have a mandatory attendance policy of around 80%
Placement Experience:
Students are allowed to register for the placements after the completion of their 6th semester (3rd year), if they are persuing a 4 year degree. The placements here are very good compared to other colleges in India. Companies offer recruitment for software developers, consulting, finance, product and many other profiles as well. Above 85% students gets placed through the college
Likes
- Campus life was pretty fun and engaging.
- People are intelligent and competitive which helps in growth.
Dislikes
- Courses are a bit outdated and not helpful in placements
- Profs are a bit strict and don’t allow digital devices in classes
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course as this was the best course I was getting in my college. The faculty to student ratio is 1:50. And the teachers are obviously very well qualified, we have 4 exams namely quiz 1, midsem, quiz 2 and endsems.
Likes
- Campus is extremely good, full of greenery.
- Sports amenities and organization of various competition is of great class.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are very bad. Rooms are very small
- Mess is not good at all, food is repititive.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Student faculty ratio is around 1:8, and majority of the faculties are PhD from top notch colleges from India as well foreign countries. Entire curriculum is divided into 8 semesters and there are two major exams in each semester

- The people here are great, seniors are helpful, you have mentors everywher
- The clubs and procedures are very structured
Dislikes
- Slow administration work, you gotta keep pushing the office guys (SBI mini)
- Not allowing the use of Tablets/ laptops during classes by a lot of profs
Placement Experience:
The placements are decent; went down this year. No of companies that visited has declined and so has the no of offers. People are choosing PPO over sitting for placements now. around 40 % students (of total, this includes the students who didn't apply for placements) got placed in phase one of the placement process.

- Academics offered here have very good quality.
- Campus is lush green. Students can explore their interests in various disciplines.
Placement Experience:
IIT Bombay is very popular for its placement records which are the best in the country. This year only the highest package offered is 4 crore per annum. The average placement is 22.85 lacs per annum. Many students opt for higher studies. Some students go for government job examinations. Many of them come up with brilliant business idea till the end of their degree.

- Amenities for almost all the needs of ours.

- Danger of creatures like snake , crabs etc.
- All the buildings are too far causing very much tiredness

Placement Experience:
College placements usually start from last year. The college provides a lot of help for our placement and a lot of companies including the big giants like Google, Microsoft, etc. come to the campus for placements.
Likes
- Opportunities for Personal Growth: whether it is academically or personality based.
- Cultural Diversity: you can participate in any activities you want like dance, sports or anything
Dislikes
- Intense competition between all whether it is for grades or internships or placements
Placement Experience:
The placements here are excellent and the alumni network is really very strong many times alumni help the students to get their dream job or internship. After graduation, there are numerous opportunities like a job or MBA or M.Tech or UPSC or starting your own company and many more.
Likes
- Exposure of Mumbai: the city offers a multitude of opportunities to grow yourself personally, socially, professionally and IITB offers you to grow academically towards the best self of yours.
- Facilties: The facilities available are the best in India and at almost free of cost. You can become a national level player at any thing or you can take it as a hobby depending on your choices, but resource availability will be there.
Dislikes
- Competition: As this is the best institute in the country, the privileges also bring some cons, competition being one. As resources are limited (and always be), the process to avail of them becomes merit based and competition kicks in.
- Hectic schedule: you do not really get time to explore many things if your academic load is high. And by global standards and due to the competition it is pretty high compared to other parts of the world.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements start in the pre-final semester and are completed before the beginning of the final semester. Everyone is placed somewhere or the other, might or might not receive their dream offer or company, but generally, everyone is able to convert a decent firm's decent offer. BCG, Google, Microsoft, Bain, Mckinsey, Cohesity, Blackrock, Kearney, and Strategy& are a few of the companies that visit regularly. Highest package runs in crores (?4cr/year) for international locations - Hongkong or the US. The highest within India is also close to ?2.5cr, the average package is ~?25LPA. Greater than 95% of students get decent placements. I'll be exploring jobs after the degree, and might go for higher education as well sometime after experiencing a few years.
Placement Experience:
Students who are in the final year for 6th semester students are eligible for the campus placement and there are a number of companies are listed to our campus IIT Bombay like Google Facebook Wipro ICICI Amazon Apple like Company service trade they are offered jobs for the students who were killed and very active at their projects and students who got minimum 60 or 70% and above percent days in an academic year will be eligible for the campus placements.
