The fests at IIT Bombay are the best, be it Mood Indigo (cultural fest) or Techfest and is organised in the month December annually. The library is pretty big as well. The class rooms are very good. Also there are around 14 different sports offered at the institute
Hostel Facilities
For the first three years of the programme a double sharing room is provided. The rooms are pretty small and there's not enough space. A study table and a bed is provided in the room. Mess and meal quality are okay and depends on the hostel you are in. Registration for the hostel happens at the same time with the semester fee
