Campus life was pretty fun and engaging.
People are intelligent and competitive which helps in growth.

Dislikes

Courses are a bit outdated and not helpful in placements
Profs are a bit strict and don’t allow digital devices in classes

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as this was the best course I was getting in my college. The faculty to student ratio is 1:50. And the teachers are obviously very well qualified, we have 4 exams namely quiz 1, midsem, quiz 2 and endsems.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Students have to pay semester fees every 6 months without which you can't register for courses, there is also a separate fees for mess which can be paid in 2 components. There are various scholarships which can be availed.

Campus Life

The extra curricular activities here are immense they help you grow overall, there are various college fests like Mood Indigo, techfest, which are Asia's biggest fest. There is club and activity for everything that you can imagine

Admission

The admission was through JEE Advabced where I received the rank of 2968 and the first stage is JEE mains where I received 1285 rank. The registration can be done through JEE Mains official site and subsequently from advanced website

Placement Experience:

7th sem students are eligible for placement in btech. Tata, tcs etc have came for placements. Highest package told to us in 33 lpa ctc that too in mba if i remeber correctly amd average is 6 lpa. For my course, there are no people in 3rd amd 4th year, so no idea for btech ECE. 25 percents is what i have been told are getting placements. I am preparing for gate, ese amd psus so i dont want placement.

After 6th sem company placement get started currently I am in 7th sem and 3 companies had come. And the package they offer is of highest 6.5 lpa and lowest is 4 lpa . All student get the opportunity to going in company recruitment but in the rounds of company many students fail so the ratio is very low of getting selected

The placement scenario at VIIT Pune is impressive, with students becoming eligible for placements from seventh semester. I got pretty good rank in jee advanced,and according to previous year trends i was sure i would land up here. Space is a constraint. More multi-story hostels like 100 floors are needed. Also, trees and wildlife need to be protected, the lake needs to be protected. Over the last 20 years, vegetation has considerably reduced lake land has encroached. MTech dropouts are an issue, top gate rankers leave college after getting PSU jobs leaving seat void.
