A quick review

I chose this course because this was the best I could get with my score. The faculty are great here. professors generally use slides/board to teach and digital devices are mostly not allowed in my department. The professors are pretty strict. Exams are conducted every month in the four month semester, Quiz 1, Midsems, Quiz 2, Endsems.

A lot of companies are there, can't name them all here. profiles range from Software, ML, DS, to Finance, Consulting etc. stipend varies from 0 to 1100k INR depending on the branch, profile and job location.

The placements are decent; went down this year. No of companies that visited has declined and so has the no of offers. People are choosing PPO over sitting for placements now. around 40 % students (of total, this includes the students who didn't apply for placements) got placed in phase one of the placement process.

The fee is around 100k for tuition, + 20k for hostels and 22.5k for Mess, per semester (4 months). adding other misc. costs, it can cost 150k INR per semester. Financial assistance is given to students with less than 5lpa family income along with a few named scholarships having different criteria.

Multiple Institute Bodies are there that conduct college fest, followed by department bodies that conduct department fests. There are 5 coucils : Tech, Cultural, Sports, Acad-UG and Acad-PG, which conduct a lot of events and activities aligning their domains.

Up-until your pre-final year you get a double sharing room, the rooms are pretty small for some boys where you can't even have a study table. Meals are not good, only once in a while you get good food in the mess.

I gave JEE Advanced 2020, the cutoff for CRL was around 3200 AIR for my branch i.e. B.Tech Civil Engineering. The seats are allocated by Josaa, and the whole process is on their website. you can easily follow through. One can join help groups on facebook where seniors help the students with anything and everything.
