IIT Bombay Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The institute has set up Master's program in public policy to produce the professionals who are interested to serve the public interest. The program is open for the students of all backgrounds. Bachelor degree/ Master degree in Arts /Comnerce/ M.Sc degree / 4 years Bachelor degree etc are some academic criteria. MPP program doesn't need a mandatory work experience for SF/SW/ FA and any other students but the submission of valid GATE score is necessary.

IIT Bombay has excellent Research Opportunities. The in campus placements are very promising. The campus is huge with an are of 590 acres, lush green and has it's own lake and a hill. There are lot of sport facilities which are open to all the students of IITB.

The credibility of this institute in my field made me choose this college. Metallurgical Engineeeing, Materials Specialization, IIT Bombay is the best in our field. The campus is flushy green and offers wide range of opportunities foe research and core engineering.

From 3rd year onwards students are eligible for campus placement. Huge companies like Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc are the major companies who offers job in this collage. Average package in here is 70 lakh per annum. Highest package goes upto 2 crore per annum. About 95%of students are getting placements in good companies. I also want to get job in a good company to ensure my financial stability

From the semester some some students will fail some one will pass even though I passed in my semester the percentage of students getting passed in placement is 80 percentage above, my plan after getting the degree course after 4 years going for design engineering in abroad

Admission Process: GATE exam is must, prequalified candidates would be called for interview. Those who succeed in interview would be given admission. Reason for preferring this college is personal interest in course and college (Since it is the best IIT in India)

After completing 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement big companies like Tata motors Reliance Samsung offer us to join they provide better faculty we got the average package of 7 to 8 lakh but the highest placement is really great that is one to two crore . student after completing courses mostly 80 to 90% student got placement .my aim is to join and work with the Tata motors company and give us a small boost to the company.

Being the best engineering college in india was the sole reason for me to join this college and there was not a single in my engineering where i doubted my decision to join this college. Initially i was confused about the branch but later on with the help of my seniors i took the right decision.

The course I wanted, was only offered in IITB. It is a dual degree course but students who want to pursue PhD or want to get into corporate jobs, can take an exit option after 2 years with a MSc degree.The tag of IIT is seen as important in any application you make after the program. While like other institutes, the course structure is a bit outdated and improvements to course structure takes place at a snail's place.
