The college I applied was India institute of technology in bombay(IIT bombay)is a public technical and research university,the reason for not attending is the covid 19 ,the admission fee is 2 lakhs,for the admission all the one a minimum mark and age 80 percentage of marks ,17 years old, Yes,there was a counselling test for all the students who were coming inthe college for admission

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is B-TECH bachelor of technology,it is a professional under graduate engineering degree program awarded to all the candidate after the study of four years degree engineering is one of the popular course in India there are many institute for inspiring the students ,in my college there were 600 academic staffs and 10,000 students.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After the b tech course in my college I will go and study in national institute of design, in ahmedabad for studying the full knowledge about the my main course the design engineering ,the project s are submitted to my college board members in India

Placement Experience

From the semester some some students will fail some one will pass even though I passed in my semester the percentage of students getting passed in placement is 80 percentage above, my plan after getting the degree course after 4 years going for design engineering in abroad

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college for the B-TECH engineering there was 2,00,000lakh fees for the course and having school bus fee for one month1000 I have the job on the campus was design engineer,foundation scholarship is there in this course in my college .

Campus Life

Yes, there will be all the fest in my college, annual fest were held in January, tech fest is held in February, in my library there were many book to read and I have read many of that my last book was ,wings of fire it is written by APJ abdul kalam, there is having sports day in our college it was a main event in my college for me because I like sports ,there was an website for our college that was running by students the name of website was, the name of the school

Interview Experience

The questions asked Why should we hire you? What are your strength? What is your weeknessess? What are your long term goals etc...... I will prepare very well for all the interviewsin my college we have a group for the answering of questions for all the questions we all the members in our group will discuss and answer

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Mostly After 3rd Year Students Apply For Placements Here The Average Package Here Is Good But Percentage Placement On Campus Is Less...Maybe Because A Lot Students Get Off Campus Placements And Many Go For The Further Studies!!!

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

Placement Experience:

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. IIT BOMBAY REVIEW

so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
