Remarks

Admission Process: GATE exam is must, prequalified candidates would be called for interview. Those who succeed in interview would be given admission. Reason for preferring this college is personal interest in course and college (Since it is the best IIT in India)

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum would be hectic in 1st and 2nd semesters, However 3rd and 4th semesters would be Project and Thesis work. Faculty: Student Ratio is 1:3. Qualification of the all faculty is PhD. In each semester, for each course: One Mid exam and End exam will be conducted.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 210000 per year

I got an Internship off campus. It was an unpaid internship. But because of COVID, I was unable to join internship.

From 3rd semester for M.Techs, 7th semester for B.Techs are eligible for campus placements. Highest package in 2021 is nearly 1.4Cr. Average package is 22lpa . Most of the students opt to do a Job after getting degree. However few students look for higher studies as well.

Campus Life

Mood Indigo is the largest cultural festival in Asia happens every year at IIT Bombay. IIT Bombay Techfest is one of its kind. Library is huge and online resources are available 24/7. Classrooms are fully equipped, air conditioned. Students run plenty of clubs at IIT Bombay which can be seen on IIT Bombay website.

A Technical Interview was conducted during the admission process. Mostly questions are from GATE syllabus. Interview would be easy and comfortable. I used GATE study material and relevant text books for Interview.

Placement Experience:

Placements are best and 100 percent from last 6/7 years. Our placement cell works as a team for getting placed to every cadet here. Most probably a batch needs 7/8 companies for getting placed. The college has the 100% placement, yes you have heard it right the college has full placement. Each and every cadets who gets graduate from her has a job in his hand with good income. I myself got placement in my 6th semester. My batch strength is 40 and 20 are placed already and some companies are already in line for select the cadets. February we are expecting Fleet Management Ltd. Company. We have an average offer of 600 dollars with no tax cutting.

so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
