There are many factors that made me choose SJMSOM IIT Bombay. Firstly, the college charges less fees as compared to other colleges. Secondly, it has an amazing campus and one of the best campus in the whole country. The whole environment is full of greenary. Thirdly, the faculty is very good and lastly it has an wonderful alumni. The college has a great ecosystem which make connected with the alumnis.

IIT Bombay is one of India best colleges. It provides great exposure and countless opportunities in every aspect. The courses are relevant and the faculty is world class. Research laboratories are appropriate and a lot of attention is paid on research work. Mtech admits are done through GATE. Chemical engineering is best taught at IIT bombay in India. There are no such drawbacks if you are inclined towards engineering by heart.

As already discussed, placements are one of the best in the country. Top MNCs come for recruitment, with an average salary ranging between 20 to 21 LPA. Students also participate in various corporate competitions, securing placements through that route as well.

Students are typically offered a Summer Internship at the start of their second year with the process happening way beforehand in the second term. Top companies like P&G, Google, JPMC, J&J, Marico, etc. visit the school every year with almost all of the batch getting placed in the SIP session of three days. For summer placements, students get placed in the first semester itself. The students are placed before completion of the first semester, and the actual summer internships are from April to May and even June for people with 3 months of internships. The highest stipend for two months is Rs. 3.2 lakhs and the average stipend is more than Rs. 2 lakhs for two months. The final placements generally begin in the third semester. The highest package for the batch of 2020 was Rs. 32.8 lakhs CTC and avg. was Rs. 21 lakhs CTC. The placements are 100 percent in summers and finals as every student gets a job in a well-reputed firm. The companies' profiles vary right from the core supply chain to IT consulting and even the BFSI sector. Prominent companies on campus include Nestle, P&G, Colgate-Palmolive, Asian Paints, Marico, JP Morgan & Chase, Yes Bank, Kimberly Clark, Mondelez, etc. Many of the firms are giants in their own fields, and thus, there is also scope for international exposure.

Being the number one institute in the country, a huge number of companies come for placements every year. Being greatly accessible by being in the heart of the city Mumbai, travel and reach never hinder any company to not come here. There are several Japanese companies who visit only IIT Bombay in India for recruitment. In recent time many, US-based and European companies have recruited students in high number from the college. About 90% of the student who applies for a job get placed in some of the other company. I too got a job from the institute placements. With packages ranging to over a crore every year, the average salary offered is about 16-20 lacs per annum.

After 2nd semester you can join campus placement. Aditya Birla I have visited but I don't join because of my study on my basis. The package decides on the basis of your knowledge and merit. My plan is after getting a degree to open private company.

Roi and good placement was main reason behind joining mba here. fee is comparatively on the lower side. Also iit tag is helpful if you are planning for further studies after mba. Annual placement is in the range of top b schools

Awesome campus of the college is the centre of attraction. Also the faculties here are also most knowledgeable. College rank best among other Engineering Colleges. Placements rate of the college are best as compared to any other colleges.

One of the most prestigious colleges in India, among of all IIT Bombay was at first position back in 2012. Overall performance of IIT Bombay was good apart from academics.
