Remarks

Roi and good placement was main reason behind joining mba here. fee is comparatively on the lower side. Also iit tag is helpful if you are planning for further studies after mba. Annual placement is in the range of top b schools

Course Curriculum Overview

Number of students are less hence you don't have to face too much of competition. Also you can enroll in any iit course which is a big bonus. Cultural activities are great along with sports facilities

Internship process is similar to final placement. It is done in 1st semester and is usually completed in 3 days. Projects are very different depending on profile of companies

Placements are done after third semester. Usually they are completed within 3 days. Max placement is around 35 lakhs. Lowest being around 10 lakh and average being 18 lakh

College Events

There are lot of clubs and activities related to sjmsom. You can also join any iit club if you are interested. Sports facilities are excellent as iit has world class infrastructure which you can't get in any other mba college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

2.5 lakh have to be paid every semester. We can easily secure loan from on campus branches of sbi. Top rankers are given scholarship too. Fee is on the lower side here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good. You can pay for mess or opt out of it depending on your choice. hostel rooms are randomly alloted. No need to do seperate registration.

Admission

Wat was there prior to pi. I prepared mainly by reading lot of news articles. Also for wat i used to write essays on random topics and got them reviewed by my office colleague.

Remarks:

I chose this because I liked its infrastructure and it's location. I had seen none such college with awesome infrastructure and environment. The college is located in Hilly area where we can see waterfall in rainy season. This waterfalls attracted me very much.

Review for SJMSOM, IIT BOMBAY

I appeared for CAT in 2020, post which I received interview calls from MDI, IIM's, VGSOM, SJMSOM, DMS etc. The admission criteria of the open category for SJMSOM, IIT BOMBAY was more than 60% in 10th and 12th which had a weightage of 5%. There was 5% weightage to the graduation scores and 10% to gender diversity too. Post filling the form I got an interview call and was also allotted a buddy to help clear any doubts regarding the interview process. The interview was held on a platform & each candidate was allowed to log in and interact with the platform a day prior to the interview. On the day of the interview, there were two main procedures document verification and the actual PI. We were assigned to a buddy in batches of 20 who would personally take us to our respective procedure. The interview panel had faculty from college, alumni and industry experts who asked questions based on the form filled. The conduct was very smooth and hassle free....Read More
