Likes
- Freedom. Students get a lot of freedom here which is really very good.
- The teachers are really good and labs are also maintained quite well
- Hostels, thought expensive are awesome. As a clean freak i do like them a lot
Dislikes
- Not much really, most of the things are good
Placement Experience:
Due to recession percentage of students getting placed has been low.
But average package for cse students is around 20lakhs. Highest package was around 60lakhs. I plan to do masters after my bachelors

- Campus provides good infrastructures and you will be getting everything needed for your branch
- You'll be getting enough opportunities for interships and placement atleast for computer branches
- Good campus life and various mess options if you opt for a hostel
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester you will star getting interships interview which might can or cannot convert in to pre placement offer. And from 7th semester you can actually sit for placements.
Generally good companies visit our college such as Microsoft, BlackRock, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Cisco and many more.
Generally over 80-85% students get placed.
Highest package goes to 50-60 lpa and avg package ranges from 10-15 lpa for computer related branches.

- The first thing that this college is most liked for is the exposure students get. It's easier to connect with similar minds and follow your passion .
- The professors undertake research projects and are excellent mentorship. The infrastructure is excellent to say
Dislikes
- The college is located near the coastal belt of Karnataka, hence it is usually humid with high temperatures during summer.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My decision to opt for this course stems from my interest in computer engineering and some aspects of electronic engineering.
I feel that this programme has a lot of potential
Since this is a relatively a new course, there are a lot of areas where the department needs to pay attention.
I feel some subjects are repetitive in our curriculum and some where the professors lack their proficiency. Assigning a better faculty and deciding on a good curriculum could easily tackle this issue in my humble opinion.

- I like the college infrastructure.The location of college
- The faculty is supporting and the full college building have centralised AC
Dislikes
- Thing I dislike is as it is placed in western coast it's kind off humid throughout the year
Placement Experience:
From fifth semester companies come for offering internship and ppo's .
Companies such as microsoft Amazon Cisco Tata Goldman Sachs uber western digital Deloitte etc come for placement offers
The highest package offered last year was 53 lpa from Microsoft
The average package is 12 lac

- I like that the course gets us ready for the type of education we are going to receive abroad.
- the less number of students in the classroom really helps in interaction with each other and the teachers.
- the quality of education and the infrastructure of the campus is also really good.
Dislikes
- As we have to get a transfer in 2 years, the schedule is a little tough and busy.
- If you happen to get a backlog in any subject, you will have to sit with the juniors and clear those papers.
- you may not be able to experience the entire Indian college lifestyle

Course Curriculum Overview:
In the first year the course subjects are pretty similar to what the students might have learnt in their high school, in most subjects.
The course i am under right now is AI/ML , for which the subjects n contents actually help you and prepares you for real world applications and further academic pursuits.

- The campus life is very vibrant. There are a lot of events going on across the town, and there are clubs and restaurants adjacent to the campus.
- People come from across the country, even other countries, and you get to interact with a lot of them and get to know about their mindsets.
- The student projects are something that are not found in other colleges. Students can get practical experience from these.
Dislikes
- There is no Ola, Uber here, and the auto union take unreasonably high prices.
Placement Experience:
Placement is fairly decent here. I am currently in the middle of placement process, and decent amount of companies are coming. The average package is about 8 LPA, while the highest goes to above 500 LPA, and the highest in my core branch is 25 LPA.

- Good diversity, lots of ways to interact with different people
- Infrastructure is amazing. You can do anything here. There are sports facilities and libraries and good classrooms
- Most of the teachers are good. Teaching methods are not that outdated.
Dislikes
- The weather is very humid and irritable.
- You can easily get distracted in manipal.
- The teachers can be better and more up to date with the relevant world.
Course Curriculum Overview:
1) good course which tests your understanding and comprehension.
2) it prepares you well got real world applications and other academic pursuits
3) exams happen almost every 3 months. There is plenty of time for preparation and quizzes are held weekly.

- The college gives exposure in various fields. Like student clubs activities. Sports activities and Ncc activities.
- They have students project like formula manipal,team manipal racing where student from all the branch apply to join. They participate in all india competition like formula bharat and Baja Sae.
- When the freshers come to college, the college held a orientation specifically for student running clubs. Where the students can work in their interest irrespective of their branches.
Dislikes
- Livelihood is little expensive. The transportation around the campus is expensive.
- Students work balance is hectic. the College sometimes over exhaust the students during mid terms or end terms examination by not giving enough time to prep during exam weeks.
- All the hostels are little bit too far from academic block. So sometimes student gets late for the classes.
Placement Experience:
Placement starts from 6th semester. Student start appearing for placement from 3rd and 4th year. Where most of the students gets intership with ppo. While few of the students who doesn't want sit for placement starts preparing for GRE/GMAT or GATE Exams for their masters. Some students also sit for off campus placement.

- The culture within the college is very good and people Including the professor are very friendly
- Great infrastructure and with every facility for education
- Wide opportunity for placements as many companies come for placements
Dislikes
- Standard of living here is very expensive
- Mode of communication is also way expensive and also language barrier comes in between
- The cost of extracurricular activities is also way expensive over here
Placement Experience:
From 6th sem, students are eligible for campus placements, there are many companies which come to this college for Campus placements such as Microsoft, nvidia, ITC, black rock, and other many prestigious companies.
Most of the people here get placed except few who choose to opt for higher studies directly.
My plan is also to get placed somewhere after the degree and after a couple of years opt for higher education

- Students from all over India are here, from each and every state.
- No bullying or harassment policy is present
- Infrastructure, Food and opportunities to excel are really great
Dislikes
- The auto price is expensive around my college
- The fees is a little too high and everything is expensive
- The standard of living is really high and sometimes it becomes a burden.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible from 7th semester onwards.
The exact number of companies I don't know but it was really high and almost every company visits our college for recruitment.
The highest package was around 40lakhs and the numbers of offers made were very higher than the number of students.
90% students get placed every year and rest 10% pursue future studies.
