PLACEMENTS ARE STRICTLY CGPA BASED CARRYING A HEAVY WEIGHTAGE IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY BACKLOGS IN COLLEGE. CURRENTLY THE MEDIAN IS AROUND 11-12 LPA. ABOUT ALL THE STUDENTS GET AN OFFER LETTER, FEW OF THEM CONTINUE TO STUDY FOR THEIR MASTERS.

Our placements start right in the final year as when you look at the comparison a lot of our students gets placed through PPO. Cyber Physical Students are already less and so pushing the speed is what MIT Manipal does in the final year as placements are always our college's first priority.

Mostly domestic players as international players for our branch are not invited. Obviously for obvious reasons as most organizations chose domestic players when it comes to cyber security and even government has laid down many restrictions. To support placements of Cyber Physical Systems many government organizations too recruit students from our college.

More than international our course potes domestic IT companies. Even Defense sector has been a contributor in our placements and has given placements tonour students with a pay package of as good as any private IT firm. So firstly we are elastic crowded and secondly because our branch is in demand, our placements are almost 100%.

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

Mostly the final ies that recruit students of cyber security systems are Quickheal, BluSapphire, K7 Computing, TCS, Wipro and others. As they build antivirus systems which are of use in protecting against cyber security. That is must for all organizations today and thus our jobs will only increase with time.

Google, Amazon, Microsoft and basically all than FANG companies are our top recruitment members. Microsoft though tops the chart and their Bangalore wing has majority students from MIT Manipal. As we are taught to deliver for them and our students have delivered for them time and again.

The placements are fine though the actual placement figures are not out yet but still the average placements as told to us by professor and placements cell people is well about 1475000 which can also improve

Banks & companies which are more prone to cyber crimes which including Indian defence too. So, we get the opportunity there as well, and placements obviously are around 10 lakhs and all. It will increase as the industry size grows, and therefore, I believe when we are placed, it will be over 20 lakhs or more.
