Overall the faculty at nit srinagar is good they provide us with good study material and they have average speaking skills we can understand their lectures easily jsnsnjdjdhdhshshhsjsjshhshshshshshshhshshshshhshshshshshshhshshdh
It has a beautiful campus and the best facilities the library has a huge amount of books and has free wifi speed like 100mbps.
In nit srinagar campus placement is very good many companies visit and they offer good packages highest packages in our college is 40-50 lpa that is good and many companis like tata hcl visits out college

Dislikes

Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6lpa!
Rapid development must has to present here which feels bad about this college.
There are no oncampus internships you have to find one your own and let college know about it.they put restrictions on everything and no proper leave is given for the internship facilities mentor you correctly and guide you

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Some of the brightest mind students study here and that's what has made this place livable.
At most colleges professors are sort of dictators but here they are coolest.
If there's one NIT that has fire power to change the world, it's ours.

Dislikes

Local students get involved in a lot of protests and asks outsiders like us to join the same.

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

The campus area where college is situated and the mouth watering beautiful scenery around college
The event in the college. There some events always going on.
Helping nature of proffesor, they teach very well and exam are also moderate

Dislikes

Size of campus, it is very small as compared to other nit
Girls and boys ratio, the hotels facilities are not upto the mark, there 5 people in one room.
The fest of college is the level of like other nit . It must improve

Placement Experience:

Placement of college is decent. Last year placement was down but this year many renowned company have visited the campus to hire student and a lots of students got placed till now and is still on going. The highest packege this year is 36 lakh and the average is 11 lakh.

Likes

Best infrastructure, classrooms , sanitation and well maintained temperature in classroom
Best faculty members , good teacher skills
Prime location of campus , 14 km away from airport

Dislikes

Poor drainage system in rainy seasons, bad roads
Less extracurricular activeness, there is only one technical fest
Hostel food is now to good as compare to mess fees they charge

The faculty are also well educated and PhD holders ..girls to boys ratio is 1:5
The location of the college is awesome and so beautiful as it is situated around the beautiful dal lake....

Dislikes

The placements of the college are disappointing...
The campus area of the college is so small and the people's outside campus is rude
The facilities like 5 seater room are available in all the 3 years no privacy given to the students even in girls hostel there are 6 seaters room

The weather and the location. There is very cold weather.
The faculty and staff. Faculty have very freindly and helping nature.
The ground and all the club. There are almost all type of sports ground available.

Dislikes

The connectivity of the Institute is not good as now. But the train between srinagar and delhi vamde bharat will start from 25 january.
The hostel food is not good. It os decent. 3 of 7 days non veg is served.
There are wi-fi and lan available in almost every hostel but sometimes they don't work properly.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. In this ongoing year many companies autodesk, Nvidia, oracle, Samsung, tata steels etc. Highest offer is offered by autodesk to two students ctc of 35.5 lacs per annum. The average package is around 10.48 lpa. Almost 75-80?percent student gwt placed. I planned to get good placement after degree.

Good scenic view and less work load

The scenic view of my college is very beautiful and aesthetic, there is a dal lake in front of my college
The faculty of my college is good ,they are very interactive and have good knowledge of their subjects
The infrastructure of my college is good , kashmir is a very cold region, building are air resistance like that inside the room temperature remain normal but outside room temperature is very low

Dislikes

There is a library in my college that is so small it's all students do not do study
The fest is not good in my college, there is no auditorium in this college, freshers party has been organised in common which is very small
In hostel room there are five students live a room that is not comfortable for us for doing study

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college in my branch is good , in current year about 20 students got placed in tech companies of ece branch,the placement of circuital branch is overall good but for non circuital branch is not good so these students prefer for further study,they try for gate and cat exam

Best college for CSE, IT and ECE . Avg for other branch. Good scene of mountain and lake

I like the natural environment of the college. It is surrounded by mountains and state at the bank of dal lake
Faculty is quite friendly. They are helpful and well qualified.
Hostel is good because i got a 2seater room. Some of my Batchmate get 5 seater according to availability.

Dislikes

Mess food of NIT Srinagar is not good enough.
Usually we have to face protests some time it is about mess food.
Placement not good for core branches. It is good for CSE , IT and ECE.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7nth semester are eligible for placement usually. The companies visited to our college are ORACLE, AIRTEL , NEXTURN, MICROSOFT, WIPRO, TATA, RELIANCE etc. Highest package for ECE is 19.20 lpa offered by ORACLE. Avg is 11 lpa. 70-80 % of the eligible students get placed. I will try to get 30+ lpa.

The things that I liked here is the freedom we can get to have conversations with various people and get the exposure to the different kinds of people
The infrastructure is well built and the development is still going on since there always exists
Faculty for now is good in my perspective it's just about the interest that we show while listening to the class people's perspective may change personal and professional development can be seen as the faculty are the top notch

Dislikes

The things that I disliked is the food which I think need some improvement and also the outing timings for girls particularly I know that the security of us is the first priority of the college still
Girls should be inside the campus after 6 in the evening which is not that valid for the boys and the mess timings which I hate the most which is from 7:00-9:00 in the mornings since winter is the prevailing season here we feel soo last to wake early
Placement due to recession is low but few years before this was not the issue here placements was good but now it has became an issue

A very good academic place with a lot of qualified professors
A very good curriculum that is well rounded.

After the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Companies like NVIDIA, TSCI, and others visit. The highest package is 15 lpa And the average is 8 lpa The percentage varies from branch to branch On average remains like 60 percent

The Faculty is very good! The professors are very qualified, they have strong Alumni Network , Campus is very beautiful, lush green and peaceful as it is one the most beautiful campus in India, It is located on the banks of Dal lake! Good Infra!!!!!!
The crowd is very good, students from all over the india comes here to study so you will see a good diversity here! Local students are very supportive and helpful! Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, Air conditioners, Modernly built!!!!!!

Dislikes

Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6Lpa!
Extra curricular activities are dead here, if you are someone who loves sports and another activities apart from studies then its not a good place to study!
Teachers are qualified but they are very egoistic,unsupportive and they put a lot pf pressure on academics so if you are someone who wants to explore new opportunities you wont get time to get them!

Placement Experience:

From the 7th sem onwards students become eligible to apply for on-campus placements. A lot of good companies also visit here including top MNCs, PSUs, etc. The highest package for the batch was 24 Lpa. On campus, by Samsung R&D. The Average package was around 7 Lpa. Around 40-50% got the placement overall, with CSE and IT being on the top. I will be preparing for higher studies through the gate, etc.
