NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

ECE is an amazing engineering stream as most often it is confused with a branch of CSE, however it isn't th case. It's a lovely college with lovely branch and lovely curriculum. Having said that the curriculum is same in almost all NITs.

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

NIT Srinagar is the best NIT among the NITs that are in valley. The fees is also the lowest as just 80000 fees and hostels are also cheap here. Every year though fees increases by some percent but still manageable.

Nearly 70 acres huges campus and just a few buildings and rest all is an open playground. It's an amazing campus as we have mountain view from all angles. Our annual fest has a local flavour to it and hence it is called Rang-E-Chinar.

There are four boys hostels and are amazing. Heaters are provided and even rooms are clean. Our mess is good and it doens't mean because it is Srinagar we will not be served vegetarian food. We are served both vegetarian and non vegetarian food.

NIT Delhi was the first choice and I never wanted to go to South as I was getting NIT Calicut. However, that was never a dream and more importantly even I wanted some peace in life and our campus is the most peaceful. Admission are only through AIEEE counselling.

Faculties are not just backbone but they are the ones who shapes and institute. The reason why NIT Srinagar is so balanced is because it has been shared by prodigious faculties. We are lucky that some of the best brains who wanted to live in Mountains have decided to come and teach here.

At Srinagar how can one expect night life as the city is shut by 8 pm. But Pahalgam to Sonmarg and all are our weekend getaway as all these places are just a few hours away from our campus. Our campus has everything and therefore we don't have to go elsewhere.
