Why you should choose NIT Srinagar?

I am quite interested in both electronics and coding so i chosen this course, but in our collage this course mostly oriented to coding, not core , also there are some unwanted subjects like engineering drawing, mechanics, electrical engineering material etc which doesn't related to course but still we have to study

Almost 70 percent of students get placed in good companies and rest may go for higher studies and preparing for competitive exam like upsc, overall placements are good , students get decent package and get placed.

For obc below 1 lakh income yearly fee is 77,000 rs which includes 40,000 rs mess fee , 16,000 rs hostel fee and 21,000 for registration fee there is no tution fee for obc below 1 lakh catagory or general above 10 lakh income there 73,000 tution fee per semester , rest same as above

There are many clubs like robotics, semicolon for coding, music , sports etc , they also organized many events to encourage students . Also there are cultural and technical fest every year which includes many events and competitions.

Hostel facility is good ,wifi and lan facility is also there , infrastructure is good, hostel fee is about 8000 per semester which is much cheaper then outside , there is mess facility inside hostel and food is also okay.

I choose this collage because of the location and it was oldest nit in india , and also it is near to my home so choose this , and environment of this collage also fascinates me to choose this collage

There are 1 : 15 faculty member ratio in each department , there are around 6 theory subjects and 2 or 3 labs in each semester, it may vary according to semester and cource, these subjects contains 25 credits in each semester marks are divided into 3 parts 24 for internal (include internal assessment, viva, presentation, quiz, attendance ) , 26 for mid term and 50 for end term , marking may vary according to teacher but most of the teachers are good at marking

Night life is not soo good, hostel doors are closed before 11 pm because of security reasons but there are facility of gym for boys and girls both , canteen and cafeteria and library which is open till 12.
