Ans. The PDEU will fill 35% of the available seats with applicants who completed the qualifying examination from schools in India (including Gujarat State) and have registered for the JEE Main. The JEE Main rank and marks will be used to determine the merit list for these seats.

The Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme, initiated by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, aims to enhance the number of PhDs in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and IT/IT Enabled Services (IT/ITES). This scheme supports both full-time and part-time PhD candidates across various institutions in India.
- Full-Time PhD Candidates: Receive a monthly fellowship of INR 38,750 for the first two years, increasing to INR 43,750 for the subsequent years, up to a maximum of five years or until PhD completion, whichever is earlier.
