There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.

Dislikes

The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

PDEU is a pioneer of universities!

Likes

The management is very helpful and helps us big time.
PDEU has associations with various foreign universities and it helps us big time in achieving academic goals.

Dislikes

Fees is very high and also the canteens are equally expensive here.

At PDEU, CSE isn't that decorated stream as its more of an engineering college related to energy and therefore companies like Reliance, Adani Green, GSFC and others have made tie-ups with it. However, many IT companies too now have associated with our placements cell and average for our stream is currently around 7 LPA.

Infrastructure and Environment of the college
opportunities during the course and internships
Placement after the graduation is 90% secure

Dislikes

Some of the faculties here are not good in teaching and giving gpa
Daily construction leads to pollution and dust
Boys hostel is off the campus and girls hostel inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is ICT which is Information and communication technology under Bechlor of Technology I chose this course because it has both Software and hardware engineering which can open my opportunities from boht the sides. ICT is the most core branch of PDPU and offers more extra courses with it. Exams are also easy and scheduled time to time

INSIDE PDEU

Likes

good infrastructure and well developed campus .
many clubs and events for external learning and development
good level of faculty , good level of teaching and interaction also well developed lab infrastructures and good usage and helpful

Dislikes

no proper food management in hostel mess for students
no proper convenience hostel management and admin management in some issues
some faculty not giving somewhat proper attention and not able to convey message properly

Placement Experience:

placement of college in specific my branch are pretty good not in all cases but yeah based on work u do in 4 year have good chance to secure good placement , i am in 2nd year no company visited or offered yet but data says like 2023 cs 2 student got highest package of 35 LPA in jp morgan and avg of 9LPA .percentage of student getting placed depend on your branch as it decline from top to bottom branches in cs around 50-60 %. my plans after getting degree sorry but not wanted to disclose.

LIfe and Learning at PDEU

The campus is very large and beautiful with good Wi-Fi, sports activities, library and labs. College also had different student clubs like Dancing club, Photograohy Club, Designing club and many more.
We also had supportive and experienced with highest qualification in top institutes like IITs, NITs, IISC. Excellent placement cell with 80-85% of placements gets every year in B. Tech . The highest package till now is 42 LPA.
Exposure to new technologies increases every year in PDEU which leads to more new research and usage of technologies for the students in AI, IoT, Cyber Security and many more

Dislikes

Fees are higher and increases every year. Hostel mess food sometimes is of very low quality. Management is not much focused towards students and faculties problems,
Sometimes faculties focus much on theory rather than practical knowledge which may not be understood by the students.

Placement Experience:

At PDEU, students become eligible after the 7th semester for the campus placements . Many top companies like IBM, Cognizant, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , TCS and many more. the highest package that went in my batch was 13-20 LPA whereas the average package is 7-8 LPA as per the company and profiles. Mostly 80-85%of the students got placed every year. Some students also goes for the higher studies or for their family bussiness.My plan after getting the degree is to join a AI/IoT company at better package.

PDEU is Passive University!!

Our auditorium is such good that even Vibrant Gujarat annual summit twice has taken place at our auditorium.
Nearly 25% of the syllabus which is one fourth of our syllabus is taught by industry people.
Each department has their blocks which are well facilitated.

Dislikes

Location is little outer, however though metro station has been built right next to our university.

Reliance Industries, ONGC, GSHC, GNFC, and likewise many state owned PSUs are the ones that comes here for placements. The reason is that this university was built keeping in mind demands of state industries in demand. One can expect a paycheck or 10 lakh CTC from PDEU as most students are paid in that bracket.

The culture here at Pandit Deendayal energy university is very good
The culture is very good and also the environment
Students from different places come here

The fees here is very high like it is lot of
The food in the mess is very bad and unhealthy
The parking space is not well maintained

My Experience At Pandit Deendayal Energy University

Likes

Many internship opportunities are there in pdeu
And engagement with hostel life and social interactions pdeu is best
Teaching methods are normal but if we talk about opportunities a lot including many clubs and sports and all

Dislikes

Mess food is good for some time but if we talk about 4 years cant consider good
Many times the teacher doesn't see your output and rate you on the basis of your attitude
hostel timings are good but for leave it takes a lot of issues

Placement Experience:

In technical courses like Computer Engineering and Petroleum Engineering, organizations like Reliance Industries, Shell, and ONGC visit the campus on a regular basis. In our batch, the placement rate is approximately 80–90% of students with average salary packages ranging from 7–12 LPA. A few record-breaking offers, particularly in core branches, have been as much as 24 LPA.

A totally honest review of Ambani's PDPU

The campus is very good. Clean and green. There are a lots of places to hangout
The professors and staff are very easy to approach and talk to.
The course curriculum is very easy to understand. There is a very easy marking scheme

Dislikes

The curriculum is very outdated. There are no updates any year. The specializations combination are not deemed fit at all
Some visiting faculties are so out of touch with reality and not dynamic at all. How has the HR team recruited them in the first place is very questionable
The system of 75% attendance makes sense only when the college provides placement. There is literally 0 placement after undergraduate. In order to develop your skills to be fit for industry, one needs to pursue CFA, CAT or similar but attendance!?

Course Curriculum Overview:

There were very limited options during admissions when there was the COVID pandemic going on because I didn't want to overspend on an education which was offline for 1 year. On a scale of 1 to 10, the curriculum prepares for real world applications at a score of 5.5 Everything is theory based. Practical approaches are very few. Course curriculum should be updated every passing semester, there should be bi annual audits regarding what the other universities are teaching vs what they are teaching. Some professors only read out from PPTs and are very monotonous. Mid sems are 2 months after the beginning of the semester. End sems are 4 months after the beginning of the semester. There are Internal Assessments conducted in between. Difficulty level is moderate to moderately difficult. The faculties have a personal grudge against giving anyone good marks.

Petroleum Engineering at PDEU

The college has an amazing type of infrastructure where the location of class are easy to find and the lab facilities over here are also top with all the industrial level instruments
The faculty Over here are highly qualified and experts in the respective fields
The classrooms over here are filled with Facilities like projector, whiteboard, charging, sockets, air condition, comfortable Sitting and speakers

Dislikes

College has 80% of attendance, and if this is not fulfilled, you are detained
In hostel, sometimes there is a shortage of hot water during winters and it lasts for 1 to 2 weeks which becomes difficult For hostellites
at very few places, there Is lack of attention, and that’s why the place Is not in maintenance

Placement Experience:

There is 80% of placements in Petroleum engineering. The average package that is of 10,00,000 per annum for Petroleum engineering. The placements here are very well with companies like reliance industries, ONGC, Shell, Halliburton, OilMax, and many more. my goals are to be placed at a good company after completing my BTech in Petroleum engineering would pursue the same

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.

They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
The campus has 3 libraries.
Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
The whole campus is wifi enabled.
They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.

PDPU Gandhinagar offers a great campus life. The campus life is also vibrant. They host lots of activities in various areas like coding, gaming, debating, etc. Also, lots of workshops are there for different streams. PDPU Gandhinagar has yearly cultural and technical fests known as ‘Flare’ & ‘Tesseract’ respectively. Overall PDPU is good and also has a strong alumni network.
