Course Curriculum Overview
Our engineering is same as Nirma or even IIT Gandhinagar as we refer their materials and teaching pattern. I have friends there and it's as similar and good as they have. So, i think academic wise PDEU even though a littl young but has made its name at sub with any other top engineering college or the university.
Internships Opportunities
Aditya Birla Group, Arvind Mills and many which now have integrated AI in their textile units have hired us to help them in integration of the same. Stipend was paid as per year as 2nd year students were paid around 20k and 3rd year students were paid around 30k for the same role.
Placement Experience
At PDEU, CSE isn't that decorated stream as its more of an engineering college related to energy and therefore companies like Reliance, Adani Green, GSFC and others have made tie-ups with it. However, many IT companies too now have associated with our placements cell and average for our stream is currently around 7 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
PDEU is one of the best or rather second best engineering university or college in Gandhinagar after IIT Gandhinagar. The university is big and has a brand namemuch bigger than one can imagine and thus fees is a bit high as it is 3.4 lakhs a year. Also, exams and project fees are paid and making it around 3.7 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
PDEU means state of the art University. Right next to our university is now a metro station named after our university that takes straight to GIFT City. So, this is how our college is and our auditorium has also hosted Vibrant Gujarat Summit. So, this is the level of University that we have. Our events be it sports or cultural, other universities like the GNLU which is right next to us, only envy us.
Admission
Admission in our university depends upon two rounds. First is entrance round and there are two ways. JEE counselling can get you here of rank is below 25000 are admitted to PDEU. University has its own entrance and a small interview online. So that is how me and most of my classmates got admission here at PDEU.
Faculty
PDEU Ama Maters are Alma Maters of many top universities in past and thus they have an experience which is very high. They have always been of many help to us in guiding our future path. Since they are PhD holders they also push us to enroll in research work and make sure that we opt for higher studies.
Night Life
Nearby PDEU, it's a metro station operational till 10 pm. We also have PDEU bridge and it's so peaceful that we often go there even at late night as it is safe as anything. From Chayos to others, we have over 50 cafes nearby our university which are operational till 3 am in the morning.
