Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate the course curriculum as moderately relevant and fairly comprehensive—about a 3.5 to 4 out of 5. When I chose this course, one of the key influencing aspects was its strong emphasis on core theoretical foundations paired with practical applications. The curriculum covers essential subjects in depth and includes laboratory sessions and projects that are intended to bridge the gap between theory and industry practice.

Internships Opportunities

5

PDEU provides a range of internships for students, including Corporate Internships, Summer Internships, Rural Internships, and Industry Orientation. For instance, Corporate Internships expose students to prestigious organizations such as GAIL and ONGC. Summer Internships target B.Tech students for 6-8 weeks of industrial exposure. Rural Internships are compulsory for certain courses, providing experiences in rural development and community participation.

Placement Experience

4

In technical courses like Computer Engineering and Petroleum Engineering, organizations like Reliance Industries, Shell, and ONGC visit the campus on a regular basis. In our batch, the placement rate is approximately 80–90% of students with average salary packages ranging from 7–12 LPA. A few record-breaking offers, particularly in core branches, have been as much as 24 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid for like 1.5 lakh per semester and yes for 1 year 3 lakhs and 4 years around 11-12 lakhs And hostel fees is 1.5 lakh each year so 6 lakh for 4 year And my caste is general category And fees of other batchmates are same as me The fees for each semester is 1.5 lakhs including registration fees

Campus Life

5

My experience with campus life at Pandit Deendayal Energy University has been outstanding. The lively social environment is supplemented by a wide variety of clubs and societies covering cultural and technical organizations, sports, and entrepreneurship. Campus events, festivals, and workshops offer plenty of scope to bond with fellow students, discover new passions, and hone leadership skills.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel accommodations of Pandit Deendayal Energy University are well-equipped and well-maintained, . The mess food is fair, though people have mixed reviews about it. . For others who prefer rented housing, there are PGs and flats for rent in areas close by such as Raysan and Kudasan, with greater freedom but more management of food and electricity.

Admission

I chose Pandit Dandeli Energy University (PDEU) on other colleges for which I applied as it offered a balanced mixture of strong academics, modern infrastructure and strong industry risk. Compared to other institutions, PDEU faculties stood out - experienced teachers and industry experts who are both devoted.

Faculty

4

Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers modern facilities and generally supportive faculty—with the benefit of lower student-to-faculty ratios in practical Many instructors are both knowledgeable and accessible The exam pattern—with midterms, internal assessments, and end-semester tests—is considered moderate in difficulty, with most students passing. However, an important point of contention remains the curriculum itself, which many feel is not as current as it could be relative to industry demands.

Night Life

5

The nightlife near Pandit Deendayal Energy University is not very vibrant, as the university campus is located in Gandhinagar, a less vibrant city. Although there are few nightlife spots such as clubs or pubs, students tend to socialize at cafes, late-night eateries, or in hostels, indulging in group activities. The city of Ahmedabad, which is nearby and within a short drive, The campus of PDEU also has cultural events, fests, and night sports events, making the student life interesting. .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
