How to apply for admission to PDEU?

Candidates need to fill up the form ONLINE at theofficial website.The details filled in the application form must be correct. The candidateshall be required to make online payment of INR 1,000/- through internet banking/debit card/credit card towards the Registration fee. When the form will be filled, take a printout of it for future use.

How ragging exists in PDEU campus?

The PDEU strictly prohibits ragging. Students are forbidden from participating in any form of ragging both inside and outside the university campus, as instructed by the UGC and under the guidelines of the Supreme Court.

Does PDEU offerhostel facilities?

Depending onavailability, PDEU provides on-campus furnished hostel rooms on a three-seat basis. For female students, separate hostels are available. In order to accommodate the students' general needs, there are hostel buildings with Wi-Fi, theseconsist of on-call medical services, emergency medical facilities, and a lounge with all the necessary amenities for group activities.

PDEU is Passive University!!

Likes

Our auditorium is such good that even Vibrant Gujarat annual summit twice has taken place at our auditorium.
Nearly 25% of the syllabus which is one fourth of our syllabus is taught by industry people.
Each department has their blocks which are well facilitated.

Dislikes

Location is little outer, however though metro station has been built right next to our university.

I tried my best that I may get IIT Delhi but sadly i couldn't and getting admissions into the new built IITs, I felt PDEU is better. Firstly it's my hometown and secondly it is as reputed as any other college or university. University has its own entrance test and that is followed by a compulsory PI round.

Likes

Many internship opportunities are there in pdeu
And engagement with hostel life and social interactions pdeu is best
Teaching methods are normal but if we talk about opportunities a lot including many clubs and sports and all

Dislikes

Mess food is good for some time but if we talk about 4 years cant consider good
Many times the teacher doesn't see your output and rate you on the basis of your attitude
hostel timings are good but for leave it takes a lot of issues

Admission:

I chose Pandit Dandeli Energy University (PDEU) on other colleges for which I applied as it offered a balanced mixture of strong academics, modern infrastructure and strong industry risk. Compared to other institutions, PDEU faculties stood out - experienced teachers and industry experts who are both devoted.

A totally honest review of Ambani's PDPU

Likes

The campus is very good. Clean and green. There are a lots of places to hangout
The professors and staff are very easy to approach and talk to.
The course curriculum is very easy to understand. There is a very easy marking scheme

Dislikes

The curriculum is very outdated. There are no updates any year. The specializations combination are not deemed fit at all
Some visiting faculties are so out of touch with reality and not dynamic at all. How has the HR team recruited them in the first place is very questionable
The system of 75% attendance makes sense only when the college provides placement. There is literally 0 placement after undergraduate. In order to develop your skills to be fit for industry, one needs to pursue CFA, CAT or similar but attendance!?

Admission:

Applied to Symbiosis Pune, MIT PUNE, Ahmedabad University, KJ Somaiya Mumbai. I got a confirmed admission from all the colleges but I chose this college at that time because I had not researched properly and this felt closest to the vicinity of my home. No rejection There is a selection criteria comprising of 10th, 12th marks and extra curriculars. There is also a 1on1 PI conducted.

The college has an amazing type of infrastructure where the location of class are easy to find and the lab facilities over here are also top with all the industrial level instruments
The faculty Over here are highly qualified and experts in the respective fields
The classrooms over here are filled with Facilities like projector, whiteboard, charging, sockets, air condition, comfortable Sitting and speakers

Dislikes

College has 80% of attendance, and if this is not fulfilled, you are detained
In hostel, sometimes there is a shortage of hot water during winters and it lasts for 1 to 2 weeks which becomes difficult For hostellites
at very few places, there Is lack of attention, and that’s why the place Is not in maintenance

Admission:

I applied for Nirma University for chemical engineering for a safer side if I didn't get Petroleum engineering at PDEU. PDU has a specific Petroleum engineering course, where is University do not Petroleum engineering. in comparison with MIT Pune and UPES Dehradun PDEU stand in middle of these two colleges, the first in India comes, MIT, Pune, and second comes PDEU for Petroleum engineering The eligibility criteria for admission. PDEU is JEE exam by ACPC. There is no management quota at PDEU

PDEU - a balence of academic life and vibrant extracurricular opportunities

Likes

The campus area is large clean and green, and there is a lot of space to sit and chill.
tobacco and smoking is banned. That's why the campus is fresh and refreshing.
The cafeteria area of pdeu campus is also large , which can fit a huge amount of student at once. The food quality is also very nice.

Dislikes

I didn't like the 80% mandatory attendance criteria, because it is impossible to maintain 80% attendance.
Almost everyday, there Is some event or function by the clubs of the college , which makes it hard to focus on academic.

Admission:

I chose PDEU over Nirma University, because I didn't get allotment in the branch i wanted in Nirma University. Aside form placements , PDEU is better than Nirma in every way , the campus , the classrooms , the faculty members, the facilities and the ITAdmin are all better.

Likes

College Infrastructure is very nice as NAAC also rates it A++.
Hostel mess food and campus food is very hygienic.
Extra Curricular activities are there and facilities are good.

Dislikes

College placements are not that good they are average.
Faculties are average and exam marking is average.

Admission:

I chose this college over Nirma as it is the best private college in Gujarat and after I was not able to crack IIT my main focus was to get in in a decent private college. The admission process is normal like to fill a registration form with your JEE score card and according to your rank branch is alloted and many rounds are also conducted for branch improvement.

In PDEU the best thing that i liked is the campus of college, The campus has spreaded over more than 100 acres of area, the greenary in the campus is very much good , i liked the greenary of the campus. Campus includes sports complex , canteen etc..
There are different different blocks such that students of computer engineering has seperate block , SLS ( school of liberal studies ) , have different blocks , so that the students can't merge.
Computer Labs are too good , it includes the Apple lab which is used to do different types of big projects or research , more than 2 to 3 labs in each block which is very good .

Dislikes

I don't like is the time of college because it is from 9 AM to 6 PM which too much hactic, according to me the time should be 9 AM to 4 PM , becaus the students who travel and come also reach on perfect time at there home.
Yes some of the students can't afford there fees , Because if we compare the fees to Goverment college It is somewhat high and some students who are from lower cast , can't afford there fees as it is somewhat high.
I disliked the strength of class , they give admission to students out of the limit such that the limit of the total students is 60 to 70 they will intake nearly 100 students.

Admission:

As i was wanting the branch related to computer , the college i choosed were NIRMA University , PDEU ( Pandit Deendayal energy university ) , LD college , DDU ( Dharamshin desai university ) and DAIICT (Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of information and communication technology ) . Because this are the best college for doing engineering and btech in computer science in Gujarat. i chosed PDEU ( Pandit Deendayal Energy University ) because i had got 95 PR in Jee mains i was not getting admission in Computer related braches in Nirma and DAIICT , rest some of the branches i was getting in NIRMA such as mechanical etch.. but i was not intrested i that branch , but i was getting computer related branch in PDEU ( Pandit DEendayal Energy University ) , DDU ( Dharamsinh Desai University ) , LD college but i had choosed PDEU because it is very good college , the packages of PDEU are good and the campus of PDEU is also big and good that's why i had choosen this college. Comparing to DDU and LD the packages of PDEU are good , The campus of PDEU is too much good thn other , and also i had listened that the faculties of PDEU college are even better than Nirma university , faculties of PDEU are too much helpful to the students and also there is hostel fascility in PDEU which is not there in Nirma University, You can get admission in Btech in PDEU by giving JEE mains , and through boards ( state or cbse). There are 67% seats available from JEE quota and rest from ACPC 33% which comes by giving Board Exams. As it was the best shot i got for the college. also it is got the best courses and faculties. The teachers and campus are great and the hostels are also nice. The college is getting more enhanced everyday.

Likes

Infrastructure and the facilities provided by the college
Teacher and student relations and access to faculties for varies need
every amenities are provided within the campus

Dislikes

The internet firewall in the college which often don;t let us download a crack software to use
The college timings are often so uncomfortable
The college mess food is sometimes very spicy or sometimes it's very light

Admission:

My college is one of the best private universities in gujarat and gives good market exposure. The curriculums of the courses are designed to make you efficient in every way includes technical and business knowledge.
