Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is average and in this year it has been changed and is now very good. The courses are well distributed and the subjects. The areas of improvement may be in the number of choices in the extra subjects it should increase. The core subjects are good The frequency and timing of exams are perfect.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem placement season starts for final year students as 8th sem is fully major project based or Internship no subjects are there. The average package is near around 5 lakh per annum. The highest is about 13 lakh per annum. The companies came were - Reliance, Aspect Ratio, Suzuki Motors , etc For different roles like GET, software and hardware.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year Wise Fees - 300000 There is exam in Gujarat quota get admissions. Hostel fee is 155000 per year with mess fee. There is NRI quota which has double the fee. There are scholarships for students whose family income is less than 6 lakh per annum and are among top 20 in the class.
Campus Life
There are mainly two main fests every year Cultural fest and Technical fest named as Tesaract. There are edm nights in it and many events organised by different clubs. The library of the campus is huge which contains books of every domain. There are also many sports events every year like freshers cup. Some clubs - SNT , SNC, Growth, etc
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are good, there are mostly triple sharing rooms. Girls hostel is there both in campus and out campus which is high-rise but boys hostel is outside the campus only. The registration process is done at the same time of the tuition fee payment.
Admission
I chose this college over Nirma as it is the best private college in Gujarat and after I was not able to crack IIT my main focus was to get in in a decent private college. The admission process is normal like to fill a registration form with your JEE score card and according to your rank branch is alloted and many rounds are also conducted for branch improvement.
Faculty
In CE and ICT branch students are very high 500-600 students are there as compared to core branches students are less. Faculties are approachable. The faculty I liked the most is Amit G Kumar Sir from ECE Department as he has the best teaching way and focuses on every student. The faculty our class didn't like was Vivek Pandit Sir who taught as Antenna Theory as his way of teaching was not that good. There are 2 main exams every sem Mid term and End terms.
Interview Experience
No group discussions were there in campus in classrooms. There were written tests and communication assessments in lab. The process of admission is simple which is through online registration on college portal and you have to submit your JEE score card.
Night Life
There is Gym in campus which is small. The library is huge. The campus closing time is 10 pm and hostel which is in campus as the same in time which is 10 pm. High-rise hostel has in time 10.30 pm. Best hangout place outside - bhaijipura
