What can be my prospects of joining IIM Ahmedabad for an MBA and later going to Harvard for some courses after becoming an IAS officer?

I don’t think you should worry about the high fees at all since the banks on campus take care of 100% of your fees. All you need to do is show them your admission letter, and they will provide you with decent loans. Many banks are easy to give you loans of up to 30+ lakhs some without collateral too in the case of A, B, or C. Once you have made it to IIM Ahmedabad you can change the date of your family. With enough hard work, you can land a job that will help you repay the loans within 3-4 Years. So what you need to do is just become determined to work hard and earn your fees!

Success does not necessarily mean becoming a CEO, CTO, or CFO. Success depends on how much your hard work and efforts are paying you back. IIM Ahmedabad excels in this aspect as the placements provided by this B School are top-notch. It’s the massive impact caused by IIM Ahmedabad’s alumni that big firms keep visiting the campus again and again. They know the surety of the talent and offer big packages. Apart from these, MNCs worldwide are now hiring from this B School. The brand IIMA is recognized across the world. Now if you are confused between MS and MBA I think you should analyze your own interests. If you are tech-savvy and prefer technological work over management then even choosing MS can make you successful.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The cumulative course fee for the two years was Rs. 19.5 lakh. I understand this is a huge amount but IIM was Government funded, initially, when they are established. Once the resources are in place, IIMs are now independent bodies with no funding. Hence, they charge fees. And to maintain the level of being a premier institute, very good faculty, guest lectures. But paying that fees are worth what you get in terms of knowledge and the placement package. The loan is easily available in the campus itself, so don't bother about that. Students from economically weaker section get financial support from the institution in both the first and second years. It is called the NBFA (Need-Based Financial Assistance). Students have to apply for that when the window opens for that and submit some documents required for this purpose. The eligible students get the amount deposited in their loan account. Some other scholarships are also available for meritorious students but that is for very limited students only.

Top college for MBA/PGDM

The fees are reasonable and in-line with the average job packages that students are offered. The fee payment can be supported with an education loan which is extremely easy to secure. There are a few scholarship options that are available.

I have availed loan from SBI inside the campus. It was quite a smooth process. You can take a loan in your own name without any collateral. It will just take 15 mins to complete the process. The following documents are required: 1. 10th mark sheet 2. 12th mark sheet 3. Aadhar Card/PAN card 4. Job letter(if you have work experience)

All banks offer educational loans at zero collateral and at competitive rates. Scholarships are offered by top corporates and many students avail themselves of Need-based and merit-based scholarships are there In case you need it, you can ask the college also to get a loan sanctioned for you. This is very rare as the banks are very open to dispensing loans.
