- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students

Course Curriculum Overview:
Cource curriculum is litrally the most dumb and useless curriculum we can ever see, they still teach chemistery mechanical emgeemering subjects to a person in 1st sem which literally make no sense to study ..courses in iit delhi are old and domt meet i dustry standards ,they teach sciemce and research based subjects to an engeenering student who wnat to may be persue a job and that field dont care about how can you solve a modern mechanics problem they want what will help them..

- Mess food was a pleasant surprise and not at all like shown in movies
- Infrastructure of academic area was nice. Lecture halls had wifi and air conditioners
- Campus life is nice. After a one month curfew, there is no restriction in any movement

- Hostel rooms are not so nice.Some old hostels have rooms at 3rd floors and don't have any lifts
- There is a lot of academic pressure. Exams are held every two months
- In first year, many irrelevant courses are taught

I have just joined college so I don't have much idea about the placement scenario at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. However, from what I have heard from seniors it is good and all the top companies come here.

- The amount of cultural activities, and sports related opportunities.

- Way too much PORs(position of responsibilities) so everyone is planning events and not fully enjoying events.
Placement Experience:
I don't have a lot of ideas about placements. On-campus placements happen after the 7th semester, with a lot of big companies coming in. The success rate is about 75%, which, while seems high, feels weird to me as 25% of people even after coming to IIT Delhi cannot get their promised "life set hai".

Placements are very good, they are one of the highest in the country. Companies offering diverse opportunities and job roles offer positions on campus. The highest package goes as high as 4 Cr per annum by Jane Street.

Placement Experience:
Many companies are flocking to the campus during the placement season each year. At the end of the pre-final year, students are eligible for internships and many get pre-placement offers.
Circuital branches get placements mostly on Days 0,1,2. The placement cell also offers students the chance to work alongside the OCS team to better understand the process.

Placement Experience:
BTech students in 7th semester and Dual degree students in 9th semester can appear for the placements, which happens on the campus itself through the Office of Career Services.
Big companies such as Google, Microsoft, Uber, Jane Street, Optiver, etc. come for placements at IIT Delhi offering huge packages.
95% of the students appearing in placements get placed. I plan to pursue entrepreneurship after my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Mathematics and Computing branch is a course which has aspects of computer science as well as finance and data analysis. Professors are always readily available for doubt discussion and apart from that there are 4-5 teaching assistants under each professor to help students out.
The professors are extremely qualified in their subjects and teach really well. There are two mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam apart from small quizzes/assignments. Exams are easy to pass apart from a few.

Placement Experience:
I think you already know about placement in iits. many big companies hire students from iits.
almost 100 percent who sit in placement hired companies in different profiles like software engineers, data scientists, business analysts, marketing.
the highest package was around 2cr, in December 2021 approx 60 students got 1cr+ package and in these 22 are hired by graviton company in Gurgaon and ctc was 1.2 cr.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
