IIT Delhi PG & PhD Admission 2026 Begins @iitd.ac.in; Apply by April 11

The application process is completely online, and candidates are not required to submit any hard copy of the application form.

The IIT Delhi has opened the admission process for PG and doctoral programmes for the academic session 2026–27 (Semester I). Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website till April 11, 2026 (4:00 PM).

As per the official notification, the online application portal for national candidates was activated on March 21, 2026 (12:00 noon). The institute is inviting applications for a wide range of programmes, including PhD, MTech, MS (Research), MDes, MPP, MA, MSc (Cognitive Science), and MSc (Economics).

Candidates are required to submit their applications through online mode only. The application fee is ₹200 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹50 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Additional bank charges, if any, will be borne by the applicants. The institute has also stated that SC/ST/PwD students admitted to postgraduate and PhD programmes are exempted from paying tuition fees. However, foreign nationals are not eligible to apply under this admission cycle.
