- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students

Placement Experience:
There should be no doubt about placements in IIT Delhi. IITD is the top indian college. There are various sectors like IT, Core, VLSI, analytics, consulting and finance in which ample of opportunities are provided by the college.

Placement Experience:
Ph.D. students didn't have that many job placement opportunities on campus. Usually, students have to apply for a postdoc for further studies. Otherwise, they apply here or there for other job options. Or students generally go for Assistant professor applications in different colleges.

- Almost everything from sports facilities to hostel menu to proffesers everything is just amazing .
- Campus life is pretty chill you can go on night outs can roam around at different places in dehli .
- Placements are awesome and the infrastucture is also state of the art .

- The fee here is quite high and there are very few places to sit quietly as campus is very happening
- The pressure and stress due to acadmics is quite high among students .
- Some old hostels aren't as good as the new ones .
Placement Experience:
IIT Dehli is well known for it's placement scenerio . The average package here being 18.5 lacs per annum Also all the compaines you have in your mind , all of them visit the campus for placements given that they are allowed . Most of the students who sit for pacements get placed . Highest package offered was 4cr per annum . Almost 95% students get placed . As far as I am concerned I am exploring and looking towards all possible options .

- the unavailability of any public means of transport for those who don't own a bicycle
- the hostel mess food which noone can guarantee when will it get better
Placement Experience:
From 4th semester of your degree programme, one becomes eligible for the well awaited placement opportunity by any student. It is a rigorous process. Mostly computer science students are on an edge in getting placements.

Placement Experience:
Placements at IIT Delhi are one of the best in India. A lot of companies visit here from consultancy companies to automobile companies, from TCS to Audi. The highest package was 4CPA last year and the average was around 12 LPA.
Almost all students get placed here who participate in campus placements.
3rd Year students are eligible for campus internships and 4th-year students are eligible for campus placements.
I am planning to get placed after getting my degree.

- The competition at times becomes dangerous and could divert you from your primary moto of coming into the college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The reason for choosing this course was that it was the perfect combination of college and Branch that I was getting with the rank that I has secured. The faculty to course rate on an average for the college could be somewhere around 1:10. The faculty members are highly qualified, most of them have a number of research papers on their name and are normally good at explaining concepts. The term exams happen thrice a semester (2 minors and 1 major) and most courses can be passed with one-night study

- less girls are there in campus so less options for wife

placements are offered on the campus. the last mass recruiter was google and facebook. hcl and microsoft. they hired lot of students and the highest package offered was 30lakh per annum and it was amazing. i was quite amazed. i was offered 15lakh package after bachelors but i wanted to go fot masters and hetr i am.

- The infrastructure needs more attention. I dislike the fact that the buildings are old and no one bothers to repair the.
- I dislike the intra-campus transport facility. It is nonn existent abd too expensive. This should not be the case for campuses as big as IIT delhi
Course Curriculum Overview:
The courses were informative. The usual faculty: student ratio varies from subject to subject and ranged from 1:10 to 1:50.
The professors were well versed with there subjects. The exams were based on the discussions held in classes. The exams were held in time and were easy to pass. If you attended the classes.

- The hostel life is great. People work as a unified entity during inter-hostel competitions.
- Exposure is great. You get to meet a lot of smart people. Big personalities come to the college to address students.
- Club activities. A lot of competitions are organised by different clubs and you learn a lot by joining clubs too.
Dislikes
- Courses. They are really difficult and are very fast. You can be taught a 1000 page book within 4 months.
- Exams. The exams are quite frequent in the form of quizzes. The main exams are also hectic since you need to give around 4-8 tests in like 4 days.
- Grading. The grading is relative. So even if you did very good in a course, you might not get a good grade if people outperformed you too. There is extreme competition.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for on-campus placements from the 1st semester of their final year. There a lot of companies which take tests and then shortlist students on the basis of performance in tests, department and their CGPA. Then students have their interview once the semester ends. Most of the students get placed. But not everyone gets a very good package. The average package might be around 12 lakhs.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
